Thanks for the report. I’m really sorry about the problem you’re having. The developers are investigating the situation. For some reason it is happening to some players, it is not a general issue that affects all users. The situation can be related to the specifications of the owner user computer.
Here are some steps to try to solve while we get a response from the developers, we know that you already had tried some and it can be repetitive, but as I inform you, many other players were able to fix it after doing the steps.
Check the EAC: Locate the game directory, and then select the “EasyAntiCheat” subfolder. Click EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe to run the installer as an administrator, fix it if necessary.
Note: The Steam Games installation directory will generally be in: C:\Program Files\ Steam (x86)\ SteamApps\ Common
Avoid using VPN, and you should remove other programs such as bots to mine or fish or to avoid being AFK. Even overlays from unofficial Amazon maps.
You can lower the resolution to High in the settings.
*Shut down the computer, completely, start again and run the Steam client as administrator and try it again.
I know it can be frustrating, but many of the problems are solved by trying the above (you have to try it please)
Nothing at theis list helped.
ios - updated

My hardware is much over requirements.
Are you able to keep your GPU at highest Power State (either like setting the voltage or minimum frequency) somehow?
As an alternative you may run something in the background which increases the usage of the GPU and as such increases the power state.
Yes, this pretty much sounds like those “CPU Slowdown” programs you had to use to play some really old games on some newer hardware 20 years ago or so.
Some units on the gpu seem to have some heavy utilization with this game, and if the GPU as a whole is in low power state the GPU crashes/freezes the game.
I had freezes until I changed the min. gpu freuquency close to max.
