Game freeze/crash on a specific corruption breach event (replicated twice)

Similar bugs, especially when doing corrupted portals in a large group. It freezes about every 10-15 portals, and when it happens we lose like 6-8 players that never get to come back .

When it happens what we get is a frozen screen, occasional sounds coming out, then moving ahead 200-300 frames and freezing on that one frame, and this repeats until server says we’ve disconnected and are not authorized to play new world.

Top left corner on ping I simply see that the last time since server response being like 200-240 seconds…

06/10/21 after 7h maintenance corrupted event still bugged. This thing its pissing me hard, how u cannot fix this shit? Whats your problem.

same

Happens to me in some portals. Normally I just wait some seconds and the game come back. The issue is similar to the bug that happens since Closed Beta when you fish from a hotspot.

Happens to me very often, would be nice to get some response about this form the devs.

I noticed that these crashes only started happening after I updated my amd gpu drivers, so now I went back to an older one and had no crashes so far.

i have same issue on corruption events

nevermind, reverting drivers did not help

I had the same issue today, but I waited and after 1 minute I could play again. These needs to be fixed!

Game slows down sometimes, once so far it resulted in me needing to restart game.

Occurs during corruption only so far. When numerous things are occurring in game (battle), the game might slow down for a second but then get back into the rhythm. Just recently this occurred but it could not snap out of it. Had to close game in order to play again. I have a capable PC, so this was unusual to see. I shall consider turning down some settings in hope this alleviates the issue. I see here others have been experiencing a similar issue though.

Me and various other players have the same bug since the 1.0.1 patch and only while clearing the cortupted Portals. Game freezes for a few seconds, sonetimes you need to restart the game. Of you log back in you always see a few others Stuck at the same place with the freeze Problem while the “portal train group” is moving on to the next portal. I am using a Brand new gaming PC, so this is not the problem… it always happens when the portal “explodes” and send in q new wave of enemies or is finished…

This is a very common issue on our world as well; in some instances when the breach is finished, it will crash or freeze the game for a few minutes - and this happens to over 50% of those present.

Games very often after defeating the tentacle in the corrupted events. ( My hardware just in case: 3700X / RX 6800 ).

Same issue, the game freezes then stops responding during Corruption events.

RTX 3080, 10700K, 16GB, NVMe SSD, Windows 10

happened to me twice so far after latest maintenance

running on NVME , Ryzen 3900x, RTX 3080, 32GB RAM

RTX2080, same issue as mentioned here. Freezes at can take up to 20-30 seconds.
restarting client works, but most of the times it fixes it self by just waiting up to 30 seconds.

Have the same problem with portal runs using a 2080 Ti. Freezing for some seconds or even crashing to desktop as game isnt responding anymore.
Also my teammate in teamspeak getting a freeze at the same moment, so this must be something serverside ?

Yeah. Since patch 1.01 I’m having this problem. While doing corruptions my game freezes and I have to close it and then re-open it. It got worse in patch 1.02 and in patch 1.03 it’s a little better but still happens.

I have noticed that this doesn’t happen only to me but to other players that are doing the same corruption as me.

Same thing is happening to me on Tentacle corruptions. Not all the time, but about half the time. Usually locks me up for like 10 seconds. This last time I actually had to restart the game for the first time. something about these tentacle ones.

I’m having same issue, yesterday it did occur twice and some other players in our run had the same problem…
