Started today 1st of November, before that every worked fine. Game freezes all the time from 10 seconds to 2 minutes and sometimes crashes. I also got once error message “Login blocked: suspicious software or corrupted install detected”.
I noticed some thread which said to uninstall and delete the appdata AGS folders both from Roaming and Local but it does not seem to help. Anyone else with similar issues?

Same here, and same message. Verified game files and haven’t got the message after that. Will update if I get it again.
EDIT:Got it now again… so verifying didn’t help. Playing on runeberg server EU central
Also maybe to highlight that I have 250 hours played before and no any related issues before.
Yeah I have 400+ hours and never received message like this before, and I always run same programs on my pc.
Just saw many people talking about this on my server, so its not just us two. It started today.
Also noticed that since today I’m falling through certain rocks that I climbed up everyday before, also other people on my server talking about this problem as well. I dont know what AGS did in the background but it’s not making the gameplay experience better.
Yeah, my friend also has gotten these freezes now. He also mentioned that they started today.
I am starting to have this issue right now, i played around 10-12 with no issues now i started up again around 1800 and i have frozen and crashed 3 times so far. I was gonna get some elites but i think not if this keeps happening… Pls FIX or atleast respond to when we might see a fix…

Edit: i asked in chat 3-5 ppl where having lag issues and menu loads and around 3 also had crashes.
On which server are you playing? I also updated mine in case its server related.
I have the same issue. Started today.
Freezing for 1-2 minutes while in queue every ~5 minutes.
If the freeze takes longer then I get kicked from the queue and the next time I join I’m at the back of the queue (~1.3k for Hellheim).
Also, CPU usage goes to 0 while its frozen and in the game log I found
Report Error: Reason: 8 BannedUntilEpochMS: 0d
I haven’t reached the end of the queue yet and have not got to play since the freezing started. I will try to reinstall.
Edit: Deleting the AGS folders in AppData and reinstalling did nothing. Still freezing
Same problem. 10 sec to 2min freezes, No error message on crash, only “new World is not responding”, after first crash verified integrity of game files, steam showed the whole time “Verifying game files (0/0)” no change still freezing.

Same issue. Been online all day, but around 17.00 CEST the game started freezing, literally unplayable for me right now. Hopefully they can resolve this quickly

Same issue as patrik here, worked well until about 17.00 CET. Also when I restart even the logo and sound can lock for several seconds before it continues to the game.
However frustrating this is I am glad it doesn’t seem to be a fault to my computer or internet
Same since today. Have 260h played without that issue. Now game freezes and stops responding. Both times happened in reekwater. While not responding audio keeps playing. First time it unfroze after a minute, second time I got kicked after couple minutes with “suspicious software or corrupted install” message. Back into 3 hour queue, nice job amazon

Same here. Never had any problem. Started freezing and not responding today. Unplayable at the moment.
Same issue here. 300+ hours, no issues, no changes that I’m aware of on my PC in the last 7 hours, and now it’s impossible to play.

I also experienced random freezes, but thankfully by just waiting a bit it could recover. All my guild members were having this problem. After like 20 freezes I left game and shutting down windows gave me blue screen and tried to gather info. Long story short into problem, page file was so big that it run out of memory space. My speculation is that AGS changed something in code and it’s overfilling page file memory and thus freeze happens while it clears up some space. It kinda already felt like ram leak. I hope they address it fast.
