Game freezes or even crashes on fishing captures

• Describe the issue you are experiencing:
  Only when I capture a good fish or I hit a new level (or both), sometimes the game completely freezes for 5, 15, 30 seconds or even a minute… If I touch anything before it manages to go to normal it even crashes and the game is closed.

• Is this a bug or an exploit:
  BUG

• (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay:
  Slows down my fishing leveling, and crashes the game, plus, I think this could be a buffer overflow problem. 'Cause I’ve noted the game consumes MORE RAM when this happens. This happens a few times, till the game ends crashing.

• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue:
  Yes, but not always. Sometimes as I said, it crashes.

• (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

  Anywhere, freshwater, saltwater. After fishing for a while (30 minutes to 1 hour or so). I’m from Spain, Barcelona, so my timezone is GMT+2

I’ve sent this over to the development team in a previous thread, however thank you for providing additional information and letting us on the forums know you’re having this problem as well. I understand this is extremely disrupting .

the community discovered work around is just monitoring your RAM usage and restarting the game (completely, u HAVE to exit it) every hour or two depending on how much ram you have. keep an eye on your task manager it’ll let you know when to reset.

Was going to Report but as usual seems AGS launches events while there piss poor coding still causes issues told myself I would never do fishing and wish i had not started now

relogged 39 times in the space of 3 hours and had 14 crashes 32gb ram should be fine but WHY should i have this issue ? Workaround isnt " really" working

FYI never had a crash since BETA till i started fishing - so nothing to do with my end…

That’s correct, the game is pretty stable for me, no crashes at all. Until I fish…
