Game freezes, then have to close game from task manager and enjoy que

My settings were correct with screen width and height not sure the window focus setting but it was on 0 which I’d assume is off

I’m out of my element questioning these things but there’s also a DebugRenderingSystem xml file under Roaming - AGS - New World - savedata

It has a traversal component and navmeshdebugckmponent

Are we literally experiencing freezes due to improper navmeshing???

Discovered, that underclock my GPU is really helping. But my GPU were in stock values. So, I think, vendor’s overclocking causes a game freeze.

Having random freezes during gameplay and after the freeze have to restart the game. This started to happen since the new update, before that I was able to play several hours without issues.

Anyone experiencing this?

So far nothing resolved it. A friend of mine has the same issue.

easily solved for me. Stay at very high graphics, if i go lower, i “crash” in less than 5 minutes.

Same issue here, unplayable on my 5600x/6900xt rig but runs just fine on my 9700k/2080 machine.

Preset on high for the amd rig.
Undervolted, and low temps, but it’s still crashing.

I’ll test some of the fixes mentioned here but it’s really frustrating…

Same!

Same is Happening to me. It happened to me a couple weeks ago. And then I played fine for like a week until today it started to freeze again with music in the background had to ctrl alt delete and end the task.

This is really annoying, it has to be the game and not me right? Considering how many people are complaining Bout this…

Same happening for me.

The game simply freezes and is not responding in task manager.

I have:

Verified the files - The crashes continued
Reinstall the latest Nvidia driver - The crashes continue
Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it - The crashes continue
Changed page memory as advised - The crashes continue
Set all visuals to low - The crashes continue

260 hours without issue and now it is not playable.

Still crashing!

I played today for about 2 hours no issues today… super weird. Only thing different I did was enable v-sync and limited frames to 60…

I have had a good day today, too!

I deleted the saved data files and reset my fov from 70 to 50.

Touch wood, things seem to be okay.

It will still be nice to have the problem properly identified and properly repaired.

Happy gaming!

Doing PVP missions in Mourning Dale and the game started to freeze, a few seconds later my friend’s game also froze. It kept freezing every 5min+/- for me and him. It never happened before.

This bug is still not fixed

Monitor your vcore voltage if you have an undervolt. For me after the first patch, my game was drawing more power for some reason.
