For the past month, I have had issues with intermittent freezing of New World. Right before the game freezes, textures will not load and my map will only show icons such as outposts and forts but will not load the faction colors or background of the map. Once the freeze comes on, I am able to move my mouse and click into a different tab but eventually other tabs and task manager will freeze as well and I am left to wait between 1-3 minutes for the game to recover and things to unfreeze. This is the only game I experience this with unfortunately. Also, I am able to hear voices on Discord throughout the entirety of the freeze.
The only thing I have been able to correlate with these freezes is my disk usage climbing and staying at 100% usage throughout the freeze (you can see a portion of that in my attached image). This eventually recovers and goes back down to low or near 0% disk usage until the next freeze (also visible in the image). During the spike, my read and write speeds drop to 0.
So far, I have tried these things without any improvement:
-Checked health of my SSD with CrystalDiskInfo (100% healthy)
-Turned off all overlays
-Verifying game integrity / files
-Updating my drivers & BIOS
-Underclocking my GPU and memory clock
-Setting all my graphics to lowest settings
-Maximizing available RAM
-Reinstalled the game
-Factory reset my PC

Intel(R) Core™ i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz
AMD RX 480
I’ve been playing for 350 hours and not had issues until now and I’m still able to play other games just as graphics intensive without issues either. Not sure what you mean.

To proceed with your case i would need you to request a Ticket with AGS customer support. Its necessary to contact via chat, make it easier and is more effective, for us to verify info and request the correspond data.
Take into account that the escalation may require logs in-game and DXDiag, therefore have them ready when contact our representatives.

Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
2.Click on dxdiag.exe.
3.When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.
Logs in-game
Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %localappdata% and press enter.
Open the most recent file from this folder: AGS/New World/LogBackups.
Send the logs file that you see in the LogBackups folder.
