I play in 2560x1440p
Starting yesterday, when I log in the video of the game will freeze. I can still hear players in background running around and the client doesn’t crash, the video just stops rendering and I have to access task manager to close game. I have rolled back all windows updates, gpu updates etc that have installed right before the issue started. I have verified all game files, I have reinstalled game, I have tried multiple gpu drivers.
Also, I don’t have to even log into the game, the game freezes at the character screen also, maybe 5-10 minutes after launching the game, it does not matter what activity I am doing or if I am at character selection screen or in-game.
I can literally hear the fans on my pc ramp up seconds before it happens.
I have logged into other games, there are 0 problems with any other game.
I have tried a different resolution, and I have tried windowed mode vs fullscreen.
I have logged into my son’s account on my PC, and it does the same. I have logged into my account on his PC and the problem does not exist. Both PC’s drivers are up to date.
I have 600 hours played, and the issue did not exist until yesterday.
