I cant say game is perfect, but community is… cringe. Most of the times people cry about sth.
In game people lure monsters on themselves, they have no personal culture, always crying that “we got nerfed” because they are not oneshoting someone and more issues to be mentioned.
So as everyone has freedom of speech I gladly use it to say goodbye to all of the toxic members. Purge is necessary. I hope those who can give reasonable feedback will stay or get a break. I hope as well that Devs can develope the game. As it seems this game was not designed to be WoW-like. Played WoW for a shor while - also didn’t like it. I watched some streams - it looks like after several years the base is to mash keyboard while big boss dies while applying some buffs to yourself. I don’t want this game to look the same, even thought it looks like this right now. Who knows. Maybe devs want to change it somehow, but mechanics from WoW is too strong in players to even try to enjoy it other way.
With all that said, if you gonna force old mechanics to new game, please do go back to old games. You will probably wont enjoy new manifests. If you gonna say “stfu” or write even longer message with the same meanin, you are welcome but that was already said milion times so you are just wasting your time. There are a lot of game where you can express your anger towards developers and other teammates.
Where is this magical internet community where everyone is positive and supportive?
Probably nowhere, but with less toxic members maybe less people will become ones. Thats why toxic ones should feel free to find best environment for them in already existing ones.
You know what’s worse than a community that communicates poorly? A team that communicates even worse with their player base.
The apparent disconnect will just continue to cause more rifts in the playerbase, spawning more toxic threads. It really is just a vicious cycle.
I believe so. Its another argument of people to get a break. Maybe I am really biased, because I am not really PvP player and actually enjoy view and other aspects of the game (obv not all of them, but still). But there is also psychological acpect, also known: not everything what people want is really what they need.
Of course, you are right to some point. It should be heard and ballanced. But let’s take example of known MOBA. Why people still play LoL if some of changes made in game is infuriating. Is it the case where people subconsciously need to be angry? This one makes me thinking.
