Well, there are ways around this, buy houses for one. there is free fast travel, then the inn. use these spread out across the map to reduce the distance to travel. then add azoth collection to your tools, it may not seem like a lot, but you will get a ton of it. I’m constantly drowning in the stuff.
Numbers 2 and 3 are legit though
Fine a dandy providing you have … enough levels to buy multiple houses and enough gold to buy the houses and pay the weekly taxes which are around 500g each per week and thats with -tax cards. Then you find yourself having to use Azoth to reset the house recall unless you wait 4hrs everytime.
It sucks brah
the reset is like 50 azoth max dude, I’m sure you can swing it.
as for the gold, I made 1500 on auctions just in a few hrs yesterday just selling the mats I collected yesterday from the stupid chests that are everywhere, I think you can swing the taxes as well.
As for the levels, you don’t need more than one house and one inn until you can get multiple houses, just spread them out, it’ll be fine, I promise you.
Base azoth cost are too high. If your company doesn’t hold any of the forts that reduce costs you are screwed.
Basically the azoth travel forts are 10x more worth than any of the other forts.
Bro you are not the first and will not be the last person to hate walking around for hours.
But man, people around here love to spend 1 hour walking and enjoy seeing young trees and boulders everywhere, cause mounts will kill the game for whatever reason.
You can farm 1k/1k azoth in like 30 minutes in doing corruption runs in Great Cleave.
Yeah at 50+ you literally cant play because of the broken travel system.
Elite alligators are pretty weak vs Hammer/Axe btw, i literally AoE farmed them at all level ranges
And the funny things is, that each and every person complaining about having mounts, will eventually get one… Can’t use logic sometimes though.

I agree with you on those alligators freaking annoying, also I don’t think a level 6 wolf should staggering you when your 33, at that I’m like bigfoot and that wolf is a pup, I wonder who would win that one. There are some ridiculous things in game.
What mounts bro? They cant even add swimming or remove abandoning event banner. Adding mounts isnt a small thing…

Adding mounts could be a bit complicated… considering what they’re having a difficult time with.

Use gathering tools that give Azoth, don’t travel all willy nilly and when you do, travel light, travel to towns nearby your destination if your faction owns a town near a location you are trying to get to. Honestly Azoth accumulation is not bad at all for me. Mobs can net you +10 per kill plus Azoth from gathering, plus bags that give more azoth when you gain azoth.

I personally have not seen this as an issue. I’ve never had to wait long to kill the mobs I needed.
Sometimes I wonder if people know what an MMO is or that the grind is part of the game and can come in many ways, not just grinding XP but walking to locations, running short on resources etc etc.

Yes you can, but it seems like poor game design to have to constantly do portal zergs just to get azoth capped. I think a better design would be that azoth drops from every mob kill. Just 1 azoth. That would incentivize people to do quests and encourage more open world content.
Ever met that Grizzley in real life, mate? One would do nothing but sh… ones pants. And I would happily hand you that spear or hatchet and see how it would change the outcome 
This response reeks of a World of Warcraft player. I know them well, I have had the displeasure of being a part of that community for 16 years. Ease up, no one is saying make it free, I am just saying the balance is off. The price is too high for the reward system.

The Azoth travel system is great because it provides immersion. Just learn to farm azoth and buy more houses.
For you… For a lot of us the numbers are way off. Just learn to see deeper.
I had a problem with Azoth up until about level 10. I don’t think I’ve ever been below 500 since, even without a house.
Circle strafe alligators and they mostly just stick to biting in air. They’re only challenging if you fight them standing still if you ask me.
