Hello @tristonbarker!

Welcome to the New World forum.

I’m sorry to hear about the problem you are experiencing.

Please try these steps:

  1. Verify the integrity of the game files: Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files

  2. Reinstall Easy Anti-Cheat . Look for the game directory, and then select the subfolder “EasyAntiCheat.” Click EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe to run the installer, and relaunch the game when complete.
Note: Installation directory for Steam Games will generally be under: \Program Files\Steam (x86)\SteamApps\Common

  3. Uninstall and Reinstall New World.

If issue persists contact us trough our live support channel so we can investigate your problem further:

Have a nice day!

Everyone in Camelot is experiencing this. And you are just giving copy and paste answer?

Please check the server stability.

Copy and paste answers are not what we need right now. This is not a problem with my machine. I’m in Discord with 2 others. All 3 of us get lag simultaneously. All three of us crash. All three of us get the world under maintenance message. And all three are able to log back in at the same time, only to rinse repeat crash again.

Please may we get an actual answer on when this will be addressed.

This is not a single persons problem. The entire server of Camelot keeps crashing for everyone about every 2 - 3 minutes. Then world under maintenance. Over and over and over again. This is most definitely a server issue after the patch.

@tristonbarker , try the suggestion I made on the following post. It seems to be a fix for a large number of issues that arise when files in those directories get corrupted, maybe this is one of those.

FIX for Screen character not loading - Game Support / English Support - New World Forums

Yeah, the client isn’t causing everyone’s client to crash at the same time, the server is broken, it’s pretty obvious.
