After playing the game, then closing the game, when attempting to relaunch the game I receive this error

I took a couple of steps to recover, I’m not sure which one works as its very inconsistent.
Repairing easy anti cheat
running “Verify integrity of game cache”
then restarting the PC and running “verify integrity of game cache” Again -

Play the game.
When quitting use the exit to desktop (seems the most consistent way to reproduce it).
