Game not showing Character

Just come back since the last server merge and I can’t see my character,
I also can’t click on the support/settings/power icons up the top right.

any advice would be helpful

I have uninstalled the anti-cheat and reinstalled
also, un and re-installed the game…

Can you please perform below troubleshooting steps:

Exit Steam.

Restart Steam as administrator.

Run Steam files integrity check for New World.

Run EAC repair.

Reinstall the game if the issue still persists after performing the above steps.

Hello Prymethien,

Thank you Arshi for the troubleshooting provided.

Checking the Forum, this issue might be related with the verify the AGS Files that are linked within New World. Follow this troubleshooting:

1. Windows + R type in %APPDATA%
2. Go to Local and Roaming (Both files will include an AGS file) and open them.
3. Rename the AGS sub-folder ‘‘New World’’ to something different like ‘’_New World"
4. This will refresh the cache files within New World and remove the error within the character not loading.

A previous Forum I was working with a another players, we found the only solution for this launching error with the character list was this troubleshooting, you can check this Forum with this link: Main Menu buttons don’t work + character/Worlds wont load . It also have another possible troubleshooting there.

Please let us know as soon as possible if after these troubleshooting the problem persist.
