Game Setting - Key Bindings - Dialogue?

I cannot find a straight forward answer or explanation of what the Dialogue setting is for?

I assume that it might be like a text macro thing but I am not sure.

Does anyone know or can explain that the Dialogue setting is that is under Settings - Key Bindings, bottom of list - Dialogue. There are 10 options there.

Appreciate the info.

Its options in game like if theres a chat box that requires an answer out of three possible responses

OK TY, So how do you configure it? How do you configure those responses? Coz when u click on the Dialogue key binding, it only gives u the option to key bind but not to program a custom response?!

Hello @Darken and thank you @MerloClover for your input,

Thank you for your question regarding the dialog key bindings. Please note these will only work when talking to an NPC or in an area where you are presented with several “dialogue” choices. You can then press the key that corresponds to your preferred dialogue box in order to quickly select that option without having to click on it with your mouse.

For example, an NPC talks to you and you have three dialogue options on screen:
Choice 1 - Say “Hello” by pressing “1”.
Choice 2 - Say give me your gold by pressing “2”.
Choice 3 - Cancel interaction by saying “goodbye” when you press “3”.

You would press the key (I used 1,2, and 3 in my example) bind relevant to your dialogue selection.

I realize you have up to 10 different “Dialogue” key binds but you are hardly ever going to come across a point in the game where you would use more than 2 or 3.

Hope this helps and see you in Aeternum! :wolf:

TY for the explanation.
