I updated my drivers and did all the suggestion on help solutions to solve the issue.
After update my drivers, the ingame preformence are much smoother now and alot better after it.
Yeah I have still some stuttering issue like 0.5-1 sec long now, but before I hade like 5-7sec long stuttering.
Its alot better for me now.
Please try the following steps in order to troubleshoot this:
Ensure your video drivers are up to date once again.
Set Windows power settings to High Performance.
Press Windows + R, type “powercfg.cpl” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
Select the radio button next to the High performance power plan. You may need to click Show additional plans first.
Adjust your in-game video settings. (sometimes just changing them back and forth will reset the issue).
If the issue persists after this, the scenario will require our tech team to look into your logs and follow up directly with other possibly sensitive account information that is best not posted on the forums so it would be best if you could please create a web ticket by going to Contact Us | Amazon Games.

There are some steps that players can take to improve their issues, most of the time it is because of RTT (round trip time) related issues. Some of that timerate is based on personsal machine specs and capabilities.
Doing things like enabling latency mode, or turning off vertical sync can help, in some cases substantially.
the problem isn’t persistent, its patch to patch, before the summer patch we didn’t have these issues, heck AFTER the summer event ended I had 5 days with no stutters as far as I could tell. then they released another patch that was supposed to “fix stuttering” and it reintroduced the problem
I have been having the same issue and been following this thread for a while. I have tried every method and nothing works. I have 200 hours of New World played and after the summer patch or around that time I been having stuttering and freezing issues similar to the video shown. I deleted the game because of this and came back recently. I spent at least 4 hours trying every fix recommended. Also, everyone saying that we need to fix our specs is not fair as the game used to work prior. The least that can be done is update the minimum requirements if the patches or updates changed those otherwise this is false advertising. I hope there is a fix that they take responsibility in fixing instead of blaming us or making us optimize the game.

i have at least 2 people in my company and several people who have asked about lag in global chat I’ve asked them for their specific issue and had them tell me yeah, my game runs smooth like 90% of the time and then freezes sometimes
Hello everyone, did anyone get this lag/stutter fixed?? me and my mate cannot move without lagging/stuttering and it is no my end or his!! this is AGS side NO OTHER GAMES LAG BUT NEW WORLD DOES! someone please help we cannot play and do not know how to fix this
Im so supprised to see so many players experience this stuttering issue.
I did all the booting the support ask me to do on my drivers and did update my drivers aswell.
But I still got stuttering when playing, even if my driver is updated.
Now ASG must see that, it might be there servers increase cap (2500) that servers cant handle and that is the issue.
It seems like AGS has changed quite a bit of the basic code on the current PTR. So there is hope that everything will be fine again on the 18th.
Still, it’s a pity that AGS gives almost no support here.
Dunno if these issue also does you see players characters stand in a freezing running position in towns.
I have seen several over these weeks this issue occurs.
I bet they put this post under a large pile of paper with 600 other paper issues…if it take so long to get any info about it.
Im almost 99% sure the issue is there servers, after the server cap increase on servers, stuttering issue occur.
I might have some useful info for you guys - I’ve had these freezes / stutters since maybe two months after game’s launch. So it’s not a new problem and something must’ve been broken in one of the earliest patches. I had no such issues in alphas, betas or at game release. Here’s proof: freeze - YouTube
Oh and the issue is of course still here for me (at least on the PTR - cba to download the main client). That bug was one of the main reasons I’ve quit - thought it would be fixed almost a year later that’s why I’m here. Guess it’s either a rare bug or everyone else who had it were fed up with how broken everything was back then and just quit as I did - hence the lack of reports and data.
