Game stuttering/freezing, able to replicate

I’ve been playing the game since launch and so far have encountered this persistent issue where the game stutters/micro-freezes between 2 to 10 seconds, the problem is very apparent in certain areas and completely absent in others, for example, in Cutlass Keys after an entire gaming session of 8 hours it didn’t happen once, however upon teleporting to Brightwood the stuttering instantly started.
Honestly I don’t think it’s a matter of specs or the amount of people in the area beacuse I’ve been around 40+ people in Cutlass Keys and the game ran perfectly, meanwhile in these other areas even with no one around the issue persists, also tweaking around with settings and putting everything on Low nothing changes, I have spoken to an Amazon representative and submitted logs plus applied all the fixes suggested to no avail, also my spouse reports the exact same problem, in the exact same areas, at the exact same times, plus I have seen other people in global chat mention the same issue.

System specs:
B550 AORUS ELITE
Gigabyte Nvidia GTX1660 Ti OC 6G
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
16 GB RAM
(also the game is installed on an SSD)

Suffering the exact same issue. Some areas are just so buttery smooth, like Cutlass keys, others are constant micro freezes that makes the game really stressful to play, esp for pvp, almost unplayable

Forgot to mention: CPU usage is around 30-40% and temps are normal.

I was in Cutlass Keys for several hours and the moment I stepped foot in Everfall I was hit with constant micro freezes… I dont… Understand…

Apparently this might be due to EAC. I get the same stutter on win10 and win11, no amount of tweaking or lowering of graphics stops it.

If it’s due to EAC I don’t understand why some areas are affected and others aren’t though…

No lags no freezes any location. Problem with your pc not with game

It’s not an issue with the person PC if it’s happening to multiple people in the same spots at the same time…

EAC stands for? I also get micro freezes for a second, is this down to lag?

EAC is Easy Anti Cheat, anyway, I’m still experiencing the issue I really wish there was a fix…

Experiencing the exact same issue since 1.0.1 update.

32gb ram @3200mhz

I did a factory reset yesterday to make sure it wasn’t something wrong on my pc, It has now gotten to the point that i just don’t enjoy playing anymore i really hope they take a look at this.

If anybody has managed to fix this plz let us know :slight_smile:

I think i was an issue with Windows 11, just a aspeculation, but after I did an update on I noticed my FPS is back to was it was before.
around 80-100 out of town
and 40 to 60 in towns

Yep, same here. 20 hours no issue and then like an hour or two after that patch I freeze every 15-20 minutes.

İ still have same issue after playing for a while and stuttering is really bad, almost unplayable.
İts fixed after restart but starts randomly.
On win10 btw
