Game unplayable in PvE and PvP alike

I agree that there needs to be more solo content.

The whining is strong with this one. If it is so bad then you did the right thing by uninstalling. The rest of us seem to be having fun. Could we be having more fun? Sure. But we are only 6 months into the game at this point. 1182 hours at this point for me.

I quit today. As a PvE player, lvl 60, GS 547, Expertise 539 with 525 hours of game time. Playing by myself lvl 58 silver chevron monsters by themselves I can get barely, when two or more gang up I’m dead, making the amount of repair parts untenable as it takes so much I gotta grind for parts to go back and try again, just to die again. Frankly I’m tired of the grind, plus it takes so long to raise expertise. It got to where I only played long enough to get my gratuitous 3 diamond Gympsum and Emerald Gympsum through harvesting, logging, skin and tracking etc. I know many will say the grind is the endgame, maybe so but for me it’s become very tiresome and repetitive that I just don’t have fun anymore. I don’t expect much to change, but for now I’m burned out on it. No advice needed. Most of you all talk in acronyms that I’m not interested in finding out what they mean. Enjoy the game. I’m out for awhile…

Do Elite Chest Runs, Do Dungeons, Do OPR, Do Arenas and you are done in less than a month. thats baby grind. If you cant grind this tiny bit this game is maybe not the right game for you. What did you do the 500+ hours? Staring at the sun? xD

It does have a very nice atmosphere/world so nothing wrong with spending some time taking it in.

Oh. Sorry lost this long ago. like 5 months ago. Thanks for the reminder.

Those suggestions are for PvP or non-solo players. I should have known not to post here.

This is a Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplay Game. Do you really ask for solo content or for another game?

Maybe if you are playing for tons of hours every day. As a (now) casual player there is no way you are done in a month. Back in the old days (a few months ago in this game) I could do 4-6 chest runs and dungeons a week. I loved OPR and was spamming it but now (even with the increased rewards) I do it twice and that is all I can stand of it. I just recently got my expertise to 600 and let me tell you the grind for a casual is brutal.

Lets see… the vast majority of MMO’s have solo content. For a reason. Bringing up the “This is an MMO” nonsense is silly.

the reason is because people dont want to participate in group content. Yes. Balance this stupidity is a very hard task for every Dev.

What is silly is people that buy an MMO and then complain about only wanting solo content. You will always require group content to progress. Its simple, but many people dont seem to get it.

More people, usually elite snobs don’t understand solo players are not asking to take away your BiS gear you grinded 10+ hours a day for 30 days because you have nothing else to do. Most of the time they are asking for activities to do that will increase their gear or playing experience.

They don’t want “only” solo content they are asking for adding additional solo content on top of the existing group content.

Don’t agree. Game has never run smoother and plenty to do. I have over 2000 hours in this game and still find myself playing way too much.

This game isn’t for everyone.

What? Im over 900 hours in and im still.not a master crafter. I dont have all the trophies or all the apintings they added. Or all of the furniture schematics etc.

Their is plenty to do for PvE. You just dont like it. Which is fine. Others do.

Why are people playing mmo’s if they hate playing with other people and grinding?? Maybe give eldon ring a try??

Besides, the expertise grind is incredibly easy… I took blunderbuss from 500 to 625 in less than a week just playing the game and doing a daily gypsum cast. When all my scores were sub 600, I’d get like 20 bumps every night from zerging 3 zones and opening chests.

I don’t agree at all with you OP. The game is in a much better state, with less grinding to level up stuff and completelly playable, and it keeps improving thanks to the work the Mods, CMs and Devs are doing listening to our feedback.

Devs may not be able to apply all we ask, but they listen and are clearly working to impove the game constantly.

Did you write this a month ago then forgot to hit post? Most these issues have been ironed out over the past month. Sure, they need more content but this is only a 6 month old MMO that is growing and getting better each month. Go play another game for a while then come back. What’s the point of crying on the forums saying you quit while making the same arguments already mentioned by others on the forums?

The communication is getting better and they have been making a ton of progress in fixing things and giving players what they have been asking for. Just take a break and come back but we don’t need to know you quit.
