Game unplayable in PvE and PvP alike

The current state of the game is just unplayable. I hope that in the future this game becomes playable but till then i just get angry nonstop about the many faults for endgame, which is why I had to (sadly) deinstall the game as i can’t accept then anymore (after 719 hours and month of waitng and no light at the end).

Short summary of the problems:

In PvE there is nothing to do except mutation, which are unbalanced and also quite boring. In PvP there are so many bugs and desync, not to speak about some aimboter which are low in general number but with only max 2k players even 5 will be quite noticable.

Long summary of the problems:

Currently the game is not playable for a long time as there are to many problems with not just pvp but also pve. Since this game is designed to be for both, having both parts at a bad state just signifies why the game loses players nonstop with even some coreplayers already leaving.

In PvP Gear and Weapons need to be obtainable and balanced. To balance weapons is not an easy feat but looking at the updates/patches so far, shows how bad the devs are at it. At best half of the Weapons are at a good spot. The rest is either degarded to be a sup Weapon because of 1 skill or not even used. It takes ages at best to buff totally underperforming weapons or nerfing to strong weapons.
Next is the part to obtaining gear. One can optain good gear form dungeons but to obtain gear for specific build or BIS PvP gear the only option is to craft. The crafting system is at such a bad state that almost no solo player can craft. Its almost guaranted that crafting will result in a loss. As such it is only an option for strong companies.
An other issue for PvP is that u can only play vs people on your server. The population is way to low which results in have one play against the same people nonstop. That is not a healthy system as the situation where experinced players will trample beginners will happen nonstop (not to forget having no ranked/leaderboard).
And lastly for PvP the clunky movement/weapon swap delay/etc. needs to be far more fluid. With the current desync problem, high input latenz and so on, a fluid combat is not possible. There will always be massiv problems in performance. That in return will stop players form doing PvP content. Sure there are still some core PvP players left but most “PvP players” just do OPR for the Gyspium and no war or duels.

For PvE there are also quite a lot of problems. First is that except for farming and crafting there is no solo content to improve your character. One has to play dungeons (Mutations) with other players. This can often lead to problems for many at the start since they are unsure/dont know what to do and so cant even test things probadly.
Furthermore the farming and crafting is at a bad spot. There are many problems with bots. The only solution for the devs seems to be to disable new character creation. Sure that will block bots from entering but also stops new players to enter a server where maybe his friends are currently playing. And if the character creation isn’t disabled the bots will come in masses which results in spots getting so overfarmed that its no fun for PvE players. But let’s say one got the resources and can craft gear. With the current system getting good gear will cost one hundred of thousand coins per piece. It’s not bad that good gear is hard to obtain, but as the stats of the gear is fixed on the gearscore the gear is either good or trash.
Lastly on the the main problems (imo) are the mutations. They are completly unbalanced. One week the mutation in a dungeon is quite easy and another week it’s super hard. Not only that. The mutation buff for the monsters favours playing with meele weapons a lot. E.g. Hellfire buff makes fire staff bad. Not only that there is also the planax buff which will block all projectiles. And let’s not forget how unbalanced the mutations are where Dynastie M3 can be harder than Lazarus M8-10.

Obviously there are even more problems like bad communication from the devs with the playerbase and so on but I think you get the point and hopefully in the future they will patch the game so that these problems are either removed/fixed or patched so that they wont effect the gameplay as much as today. But if these problems dont get fixed the playerbase will shrink even further than the current 30k peak and that with a massive amount of player at release. And yes i know most the these over 900k players would have left the game eitherway but having lost so many so fast just shows how bad the state of the game is.

That’s crazy I swear I was just playing it and have been for like 1400 non concurrent hours.

Every system in the game is working great and as intended! A very rewarding experience for the average 9-5’er. If NW remains how it is right now for another five years the population will be booming!

I agree that there needs to be more solo content.

The whining is strong with this one. If it is so bad then you did the right thing by uninstalling. The rest of us seem to be having fun. Could we be having more fun? Sure. But we are only 6 months into the game at this point. 1182 hours at this point for me.

I quit today. As a PvE player, lvl 60, GS 547, Expertise 539 with 525 hours of game time. Playing by myself lvl 58 silver chevron monsters by themselves I can get barely, when two or more gang up I’m dead, making the amount of repair parts untenable as it takes so much I gotta grind for parts to go back and try again, just to die again. Frankly I’m tired of the grind, plus it takes so long to raise expertise. It got to where I only played long enough to get my gratuitous 3 diamond Gympsum and Emerald Gympsum through harvesting, logging, skin and tracking etc. I know many will say the grind is the endgame, maybe so but for me it’s become very tiresome and repetitive that I just don’t have fun anymore. I don’t expect much to change, but for now I’m burned out on it. No advice needed. Most of you all talk in acronyms that I’m not interested in finding out what they mean. Enjoy the game. I’m out for awhile…

Do Elite Chest Runs, Do Dungeons, Do OPR, Do Arenas and you are done in less than a month. thats baby grind. If you cant grind this tiny bit this game is maybe not the right game for you. What did you do the 500+ hours? Staring at the sun? xD

It does have a very nice atmosphere/world so nothing wrong with spending some time taking it in.

Oh. Sorry lost this long ago. like 5 months ago. Thanks for the reminder.

Those suggestions are for PvP or non-solo players. I should have known not to post here.

This is a Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplay Game. Do you really ask for solo content or for another game?

Maybe if you are playing for tons of hours every day. As a (now) casual player there is no way you are done in a month. Back in the old days (a few months ago in this game) I could do 4-6 chest runs and dungeons a week. I loved OPR and was spamming it but now (even with the increased rewards) I do it twice and that is all I can stand of it. I just recently got my expertise to 600 and let me tell you the grind for a casual is brutal.

Lets see… the vast majority of MMO’s have solo content. For a reason. Bringing up the “This is an MMO” nonsense is silly.

the reason is because people dont want to participate in group content. Yes. Balance this stupidity is a very hard task for every Dev.

What is silly is people that buy an MMO and then complain about only wanting solo content. You will always require group content to progress. Its simple, but many people dont seem to get it.
