This idea came from a ingame discussion on global.
If the game were dying, there would be nothing to do.
It’s not though, and there’s plenty of things that can be done.
(just in my opinion)

You are right there, I understand where some people coming from when they are new to MMO’s people can be hatter/troll’s so I understand people leave for that, and when New World was all new with the issues but from day 1 what game don’t but I think the team of the game is doing great. I know I stopped playing that’s only becouse I own my own business and I am at my busy time. and my dad who started 2 days ofter first day he is still playing and New World is his new MMO and he is 65 year’s old. Yes when I try and help him I think why that way but he is loving it so.
So what I am trying to say it’s like any game you get player’s who think the game look’s good and play it and not like it and never comeback and some like me spend time playing but mostly wait for DLC but I think New World is great I’ve got 2 month’s of video’s to upload so when I get back into the game well when I can that will be after christmas I should be making new video’s.

no that’s not how it works on this forum. if a minority of angry players say the game is dead then the game is dead.

dying means losing players at a rapid rate not that the remaining players have things to do in game

Hello Gn8008. After you saying that and butting it like that. Yes it might be but it will pick back up and the player’s who play it even when it dying is the player’s who matter.

You’re partly right, and partly wrong.
You’re partly right in that it means the game is losing players (or is illustrated by this).
However when I said that there was still something to be done, I didn’t mean that the players could do something, I meant the devs.
To use your illustration, when a game is losing players, but the devs can do something about it, or AGS can do something about it, that’s different to if the game is dying and whatever AGS does won’t help.
Basically, think of the game as a living organism that is not doing very well, it’s losing players, well, I was saying “it’s not dyng”, “you can still turn things around”. In this image, you could think of AGS as doctors

ok, yeah if you create a fun non buggy game with no exploits every 2 days sure they could fix it. Do you have faith thy can do that?

Absolutely, I’m 100% sure it’s possible.
Whether they will, that I don’t know.
But the fact that it’s possible changes a lot, because if it’s impossible to stop NW from dying, then why bother even trying?

I think you both are right and if you people who is working to get the game better do more side quest and quest where you have to find the people. I don’t know but I like going and helping other player’s but thank you for understanding me and talking to me
