Gathering Struggle for motes

Hello NW,

As a crafter and gather, the game is very enjoyable, you have multiple good routes for a lot of resources allowing if someone is doing runs somewhere you an travel somewhere else and usually be able to gather a good amount of material. HOWEVER, with motes its a whole different story, its painful and no matter where I travel to it seems they are never up and I have to sit and wait at a single node for the respawn timer. This makes it incredibly hard to level up arcana, engineering, and many more crafting professions. I think there needs to be some consideration to increasing the nodes around and potentially having good motes routes in higher tier zones or increasing the amount that drops. ALSO seems that earth motes in particular and maybe others arent dropping at same numbers. with a strong proficiency potion I get around 15 air motes but for earth ill get maybe 10.

Please consider helping out your gathering and crafting community with the mote issue. I understand there is some PTR work with tool perks however I still feel there should be better routes and more node locations around the map.

Thank you,
MistaGump

Bots have moved over to motes and have dropped hemp at least on my server. They also moved a bunch of nodes to Brimstone and covered up or moved them with the new faction forts.

Tool perk is live right now… honestly, the prices have been falling like crazy, and most of the mote bots on my server have moved to other things.

You can also pay 35 to 80k for any tool and get 1 meager mote once in a while.

According to AGS, that’s totally worth it.

Hey @mistagump thanks for the feedback! I have passed along this informaiton to the team.

The same could be said for silk and wirefiber, there are not nearly enough nodes to supply the demand even on dreadfully low pop servers. Ori was addressed and more nodes added, not nearly enough but it was a start. Why so many crafting bottlenecks in the game?
