Gem Setting Pins not working on jewellery

• What is your character name in New World: Tangent (not me but the person experiencing the bug)
• What server/world did you experience your issue on: Tritonis
• Describe the issue you are experiencing: Using a gem setting pin (faction shop item for 300 faction points and 100 gold) on a piece of jewellery uses a perk slot to guarantee a gem slot, however no second gem slot is given and the item rolls as a 1 perk, 1 attribute item instead, forcing the item to roll a gear score that’s lower than the lowest possible roll.
• Is this a bug or an exploit: potential bug
• (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Forced jewellery to be downgraded to blues instead of purples at the higher end of crafting.
• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Resource cost can’t be recouped but is minimal
• (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: Twitch
• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Make a piece of jewellery with the gem slot pin as the selected craft mod

Just experienced this issue as well. Had maybe thought it was a ‘chance’ to get slot, but doesn’t seem to be the case. (Can’t upload screenshots)

• but did not get lower GS than listed.
