I’m not one to complain. I have even enjoyed the original leveling experience. Sure there have been a lot of frustrations but I’m really about to call it quits because I can’t even nonchalantly gather resources while watching a show on another monitor.
Today I got home from work and fired up the game for it to tell me No Login Ticket Received. Not my first rodeo with login issues, Refreshed the client and tried again, still same message. I made dinner and showered while periodically attempting to log in, 7th time was the charm. I get into game and start farming Iron veins while watching a show, Where I farm is not a congested area. I saw a total of 2 people during my hour of LAGGY playtime where my character was briefly teleporting around while an npc smacked me. I knew this sort of lag was common when near masses of people and in war but not in vicinity that maybe has 2 people near me casting (not spamming ice domes or void domes over eachother) inconsistently.
Yet I’m still lagging. So I decide ehhh I’ll just gather more resources instead of collecting chest’s near the veins i was farming. Trying to be very patient and understanding with the issues I’m facing. 3 veins later I see my character have a seizure when trying to mine an iron vein and bam kicked from server.
I followed up by testing my network connection and speed for possible issues, 48 up 97 down. CPU fine, 32g of Ram. Honestly, I’m really becoming aware how unimportant this game is to Amazon as a conglomerate. The games already plummeted and a bunch of players came back to this patch with promises of fixes and it’s in my opinion worst than before(as far as open world experiences go).
Best of luck and wishes from an honestly understanding and patient gamer, but my hope is running out.
Not looking for this to be a conversation where people try and convince me how an opinion I have about my over all experience is wrong or even a sympathetic response from a dev. This is just feedback and I really don’t even intend on checking this thread again.
