Getting mutation groups together is a joke. I should also not be forced as a PvP enjoyer to run PvE just for upgrades

Currently ahave been waiting nearly 3 hours to get a muation group together for lazurus M1 on Castle of Steel and have gone through a total of 6 player changes already and now have 2 more waiting while 16 other players wait with un fiilled lobbies in 6 other mutation difficulties.

18 players waiting to do mutations and the high muations players WONT play down to help others and new mutation players cant get into higher lobbies without linking their gear and getting invited.

How are we supposed to as more casual PvE players ( i much rpefer to PVP but since there is absiolutely NO WAY TO PROGRESS GEAR WITHOUT PVE IM FORCED TO ATTEMPT MUTATIONS WHIHC SEEM IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT WEILLING PLAYERS) progress our PvP gear or strive for some of even the unique dorps in those mutaions if the playerbase is so far split even though we have a group finder which only made it easeir to find goups for regualr dungeons.

It should not be this difficult to find players that have already completeed the codex to help out, as soimeone who has been trying to do mutations solely for PvP gear upgrades its stupid that I ahve to run PvE content just to upgrade AND that higher codex players DO NOT GET ANYMORE BENEFIT HELPING IN LOWER MUTATIONS to alleveitate the issue and get more players upto to the top mutations.

Give me more oiptions as a PVP player to increase my gearscore in a simialr fashion to running mutaitons OR give higher codex players more of an incentive to help in lower mutations. IT could even be BOTH.

Its aggrevating that anytime I want to progress as a pvp player i cant just do the pvp activities to do so.

What are you talking about?. You play many pvp then from 20 completed milestone you often get 1 k shard on the 2nd track. If you complete 10 track a day because you only play pvp then it would be mind 5 k shard only from pvp + gypsum cast like 8k +

i think the point is getting 6k shards from a 25 min dungeon vs suffering for hours and hours in opr for not close to that isn’t fair for pvp and I agree

10 tracks a day?
After a certain ammount of PVP exp a day the ammount you get , gets lowered REALLY HARD.
You don’t get 1k exp per arena , also we gotta take into consideration the queue times , most times of the day you won’t be able to play a OPR because people are not queueing for it , while Expeditions are pretty easy to fill , get 4 people together and thats it.

I play both things , PVP and PVE , and lemme tell you , the difference is WAY too big.
In 2 days playing PVE ā€˜ā€˜seriously’’ got 110k shards , you know how much time that is in PVP grind?
Weeks. If not months.

No. Run mutations, get real good at it. Invest time into your gear like everyone else does. Just like you do for casualmode pvp :joy:

If you say that you done 25 x m10 in 2 day then what is the point of increase reward for pvp?

Because nobody should be FORCED to play PVE if they want to play PVP.

PVP Rewards should be equivalent to the PVE counterparts.

There is literally no reason for PVP rewards to be this bad.

The solution would have to be some sort of ā€œlimitless no shard mutationā€.
As long as it’s limited, people will attempt to do the hardest runs they can, which gives them the highest reward.

Maybe we could define that up to hard (m1-m5) groups could have 1 ā€œcarry slotā€. The person in the carry slot doesn’t expend an entry but gets no shards out of the run.

That’s not me, that’s AGS. And ofcourse they say ā€œf you for not playing the content we put so many hours in developmentā€.

Who can even get into that many OPR’s a day… most servers are dead and your lucky if one OPR pops a day.

Toxics said he can get 120k shard on 2 day and then suggest increase reward for Pvp? Whats the logic here if you say that you get 120k in 2 day and complaint about 1k shard on pvp? I think the one that is to faul to read all the comment should eat organe here

The difference between 600gs and 625 for pvp, is 2-5% damage reduction (depending on armor class) and 10 stat points.

YOU DO NOT NEED 625 FOR PVP! ITS JUST COPE! PLAY BETTER!

Sadly I disagree.

Why must the experienced player ā€œCARRYā€ you and similar people when you just won’t learn the basics of dungeon warfare?

I personally drop down a few levels just to get a dungeon run but after 25 minutes players leave because it’s too hard for them.

So please explain why my time must be wasted in order to carry you when in all likelyhood you will leave?

Short answer, no experienced player should be forced to assist the lower level. Voluntary assistance works. Leave it alone.

The dungeons are hard for a reason. Put in the hours like I and many others have did in order to succeed.

No one needs to carry ā€œUSā€ PvP’ers, we know the mechanics better than other players considering PVP is harder.
The fact that getting a group together unless you have a premade or a very specific ward set which in itself is a vicious cycle of doing PVE just so we can get shards is the problem.

Just get to m10 and rethink it

Some of you guys do indeed get carried. Others like you still think ā€œElitism within PVPā€ yet here you are crying.

Getting a variety of Armour with suitable wards shouldn’t be an issue for heroes like yourself.

Personally I have few issues in getting into a dungeon.

The guy (MMoo) above this post is an exemplary example of a player running high end dungeons but doesn’t often ask for warded, gemmed sets etc…

Find the right players among your PVP mates and I am sure you will easily succeed.

this thread is evidence that pve is a bit too much for some players to handle.

PvP’ers should just quit. Refuse to login or buy anything. Give the PvE praisers what they want, and also give AGS what they want apparently.

As PvPer you cannot enjoy the game. And as someone above said, pve in this game is no struggle for any pvp’er lol. You’d be insane to belive pvp’ers are casual players when it comes to mechanics. You probably don’t even know the cd’s of more than 2jobs and think you’re decent.

Moved back to FFXIV for actual challenging pve content
Not my pic, but I’m in a similar place atm.
This are wipes from a group that already queued as a clear group where everybody ā€œknowsā€ the mechanics and has probably wiped 300-500times prior in learn/progress groups.

That’s entertaining pve. Not gearing up to 625 which is the true struggle when it comes to m10 runs.

2-5% damage reduction is huge , specially if you want to join wars.

Thre real question is ; why would I artificially handycap myself at 600 instead of going to 625?
Why would any compain take a 600 over a 625 to a war?

They made a gear system , and you should be able to get rewards regardless of what mode you’re playing.
