A new consumable food is being added to the game called Desert Sunrise. This food reduces the duration of Damage Over Time spells by up to 35% for 40 minutes.
Bleed Rapier builds heavily rely on building up bleed stacks in order to execute targets. This single consumable nerfs such builds by a huge margin. Where setting up 3 Tondo stacks would typically do ~540% weapon damage, they now will only do ~350% weapon damage.
Imagine having the damage of your build reduced by 35%, simply because your opponent decided to consume some food beforehand.
DoT builds have never been powerful in New World due to the abundance of healing. Why are these builds getting gutted?
