Give Legacy Players Free Transfer Token

Managing locked servers this way and that, forcing migrations and then expecting people to purchase again and again?

NW lost too many players in very short time as if to have any doubt that people can leave in a heartbeat, specially if you force them to keep purchasing the same product that you somehow gated and constrained regarding population levels.

Allowing essentially unfettered server transfers paid or otherwise to begin with was a really pad decision on AGS’s part. Transfers should only be available to transfer TO the 30% of the servers with the lowest populations. The goal should be to target medium to high populations with no servers reaching full or ques. When you want to play on a different server with a higher population you should be forced to level on that server not on a low pop server with no competition for resources then plop in and make the high pops servers even more competitive for resources.

WoW handled it the best before they got shards. They periodically offered free transfers from any world to specific low pop worlds to boost those populations. They never offered carte blanch transfers until you could pay for them and only then could you transfer to high pops and only if you paid.

The way it works now you have people who basically commute between servers playing the trading post to make gold screwing up the economy on all the servers. You have players who just bail to a different server when their faction is losing rather than investing time and energy to reclaim the server like they should. It’s a big circus.

We didnt had free transfer token,those were inactive players.

Know how I’m positive? I have both free transfers and I’m damned sure not inactive and haven’t been inactive - ever - going back to the Alphas.

What problem? Your own decisions burned the free ones you got. You wanting to change servers is fine, and I completely get it. All you have to do - since you burned those freebies - is pay for it.

I fully understand you want AGS to give you something they monetize for free. I just disagree that they should.

I am tired of explaining myself,its not about me I dont have an issue,those people which transfered because of Que issues to new servers since ags made a lot of new server instead of balancing it then released fresh which made things worse for those who is staying on 300-500 pop servers,if those people would get free token they can make a med or high pop server.

Are you not familiar with merges? It seems like you’re asking for a merge. The problem with free transfer tokens is that everyone will use it at the same time to go to the most populated server. This then causes those players and ones already on that server to complain about queue times, lag, etc.

This is why I didnt suggest merge,I am suggesting to give those people free token since they are in 300 pop do a empathy man there is no legacy server with que anymore,if those people move to med pop server they can make a high pop server without que,or move to one server for making med. Both of us benefits from this,since some people moved to fresh we can gain those people to med server.

Then when it is merged do you take those tokens away?

What do you think it will happen if they dont give those people free transfer token and they are not transfering? those servers will stay as 200 pop or they merge think about it?

Yes. Simple, merge it as they’ve done before. Which will happen if the server continues to have such a low pop.
