AGS, stop giving us “updates” that say you’re “going to fix” this or that and then give an unspecified timeline. Your updates don’t even give a rough timeline like, in a week, in a month… You guys just say “soon” which is completely open to interpretation. You guys need to commit to fixing this game if you want to save it and recognizing huge issues (such as weapon swapping being bugged) and just saying, “We’re gonna do something about it soon” isn’t fixing anything and it just shows how lazy you guys are. Commit to a timeline and give players an accurate estimate of when things will be fixed.
I used to harp on AGS for not communicating well with us. It seems like they’ve heard our feedback and they are now doing a much better job communicating. For that, thank you AGS.
Actually wouldn’t mind seeing a road map for end game content lol…
Soooo bored
Elite zerg into boss respawn farming is getting old fast. Outpost rush is fun, buut even that needs more than one map. Dungeons have a massive grind to their entrance cost that is just so much fun to do!.
Lol love New World just wanna know what’s ahead so i can atleast prepare for it for something to do.
Posts like this show a complete lack of understanding. If you were in charge how would you do it? Give the team a deadline to research a problem and provide a fix within one week? Then what happens when that isn’t enough time and you just lied to your customers or test the fix and it doesn’t work? Now you’ve made everyone more upset because most of the people on these forums are cry babies. So then you set a new deadline and realize that your fix may cause issues with other things because you forced the team to release something that wasnt ready. Now all the cry babies grab their bottles and howl even louder and create threads like this that they could do it so much better and its obvious the development team doesn’t care. Is that about right?
Responses like this show a complete lack of reading comprehension. Can you see where I wrote “in a month?” That means that they do not have to commit to a one-week deadline, they can create a deadline that’ll actually be acheivable. If they can’t fix it in a week, then DON’T SAY WE’LL FIX IT IN A WEEK. What a concept?! Have you ever held a real job in your life??
Also, huge issues such as the fireball going through enemies need to be on an ASAP timeline. You only get 3 special attacks and one of them is gonna completely glitch through the enemy?? Last time you guys said you were “going to fix” this but still haven’t! When will it be fixed?? January 2022? 2023??
In all reality, the amount of bugs ranging from (Permanent deaths, skills not working, lag, ect ect) is far to great. It would be foolish for anyone dealing with all that to give any kind of response other than “soon”.
The last response I got from live chat about the stun walking after 250 STR said that their will be a fix “real soon”, that’s the safe way of saying it could be a few days to a few weeks.
Maybe I am being a bit overzealous here but it would definitely be nice to know when they will modify things like the cost to enter Lazarus or Genesis. Having an idea of when this will be implemented lets us know if we should go ahead and use those keys now because those changes will be long after I’m a solid 590 gs watermark or if those changes are next week. I understand that exact timelines are a bad idea but also just saying “soon” and leaving the rest up to interpretation is equally bad.
Another example: with the luck increase using PVP flagging, should I wait until this is implemented to grind my void ores out? If this change is coming next week, why would I spend time this week grinding without the luck increased? If the change is coming next calendar year, I will definitely start grinding without the change implemented. A rough timeline shouldn’t be too much to ask for. I just don’t like the overuse of “soon”
