I want to start by saying i love this game. First game in years I have dedicated intense time in. Currently I have over 900hrs in game and the mutations are very cool. But this is the issue, currently the main drops you can get are weapons and a few jewelry pieces that are worth farming for, examples are the smooth bone ring, will of the ancients, and Fury. That is great that these are attainable by farming and come with great usable perks, but where is the armor?
Why is there no armor to be farmed, all you get is these random pieces that 95% of the time are typically not useable by any legit spec in the game. You will be excited when you see a legendary piece of armor to drop but it has strength and focus…… like come on. Or my personal favorite is a piece of gear that has great perks but an attribute stat that doesn’t go with the perks. Getting strength on a piece that has healing perks on it.
I know you can craft items in the game and I have leveled almost all the professions to 200 (currently just missing weaponsmithing) and I can sit here and say that the amount of items you have to craft to get one that is worth it is based on way to much chance, and if this is the only true way to get the armor with the perks we are looking for we need more control of what rolls on it. Or even better yet give us an option to re-roll one stat on the item. So many times I have rolled a legendary for healing and gotten a perk for s great axe or harvesting or something completely useless and if you use something like a brilliant animus which are super expensive on my server you just wasted all those materials to craft that item.
Currently it cost an obnoxious amount of shards to take something to gear score 600 which I don’t understand and the only current way to get the shards is mutations…… just put named armor pieces in game that we can get from the mobs!!! Give them perks that makes sense together. Give us something to farm for instead of endlessly trying to craft armor that is useable. Alright my rant is over, well not quite while your at it make the chests on the dungeons worth grabbing instead of just dropping greens and other junk. Alright now I’m done, thanks.
