Giving Double XP for crafting XP undermines the achievement of everyone who got it the hard way

As somebody who did it the hard way, you are completely wrong. Crafting is a joke, 200-500k to level a skill just to make trash items. Needs to be a faster process.

Do you stand in town charging for crafting services, I’m gonna say no considering there’s tons of people that craft for free, so how are you even remotely affected?

Laughs in 150 aptitudes of fishing without the use of a bot.

You dont know true pain. Who cares about how much gold you sunk into crafting. Until you are at atleast 100 aptitude in fishing dont talk about how the double xp is a bad thing

LoL why you say so? You clearly haven’t played any mmo for a long time.

Plus reagents flop that made reagents cost 0.02 for weeks making it super cheap craft mats. Bots that supplied unlimited amounts of base mats and general crafting profitability because of 570 bareer. It was much much easier.

Grats. No one cares. God forbid they do double xp on crafting. “Wahhhh. I had to do it the ‘hard’ way so everyone else has to. Wahhhh” Guess what? I leveled my character 1-60 without xp boosts and before they made xp rewards greater than what they started with. I am glad they are offering double xp to people for EVERYTHING hopefully.

Also, it is called an incentive. I am sure there will be people coming back to play for this and not only that, this will get more people involved in crafting too in helping them catch up.

Get over it.

Imagine thinking that a double xp weekend will make people max out their skills then quit the game cause they have nothing to do anymore.

Some stores actually offer this. Many times, it could even be on sale in other store. Price-matching is nothing new.

I guess you be happy to play this MMO on your own after the next have decent one launches, because NW WILL ghost if they dont make it more accessible.

Who would care crafting due to dungeon drops is broken anyway and needs rework asap. This crafting bonus is for new players to catch up.

I have been here since Destiny Stress Test (phase before Alpha preview event and Alpha 3), I welcome the double XP for trade skills.

Sound like you are one of those who are willing to sabotage the future of the game for your own gains.

Im 200 in a few professions. I welcome the xp bonus and i dont feel it diminishes my achievements.

Exactly, especially if it applies to aptitude. It means it benefits veterans and new players. So why object to it?

The Op’s post sound more like sabotage than selfish gains.

How does it harm you if someone else gets something in their game?

From what I am assuming, more higher tier crafters = less opportunity for them to make gold.

Considering the low volume of players, I would think this change will help. As a new player, I am very discouraged by the cost of crafting. I’m not poor and I farm mats but it is taking a lot and I am losing interest in that part of the game.

Yes, heaven forbid that the devs make the accomplishments of all the dupers and gold buyers so much less!!! :smiling_imp:

Anyway, who still crafts? Guess main guild persons in large guilds? The crafting system is really not all that useful for most players IMO. It could use a overhaul.

Anyway, as to OP, it was originally too hard and of too little use, the XP should have been more but they actually made it harder. Any new players won’t even bother even if the XP was quadrupled, because it is not worth it.

And in all games stuff has to be made quicker for new players to feel like sticking around.

The real time commitment are the endless attempts on legendaries.
