Skills grandmaster here. Doesn’t bother me, the more crafters the better! Always good to have more people trying to craft BIS gear that they might then sell!
where is the catchup mechanic in giving away 2x crafting experience? sure weapon xp and character xp are essiential to have fun but is giving away a hard earned title fun? (probably for everyone that doesnt have it sure ) the main reason i play this game is for the achievement hunting and this hurts it severely
no it wasnt crafting has been made alot easier lol iv played all the way from launch people who say that are plane wrong the devs have even noted and told us in many patches how they made it easier also gypsum didnt exist at launch so we got no free gs its not like every vet player dosnt read every dev note your just plain wrong
because i could of just spent 50% less time gathering and 50% less gold i could of been decked out? imagine working hard and saving to get something extremely expensive then the next day its 50% off and you cant refund it would you feel like shit?
Crafting grind is way to excessive period.
Game needs to increase player base to last.
Causal players are really screwed levelling from 150-200 due to the ridiculous contested resources model.
Like getting 200 in crafting with double xp still wouldn’t be worth it because of how bad it is . The ridiculous amounts materials needed to craft an item to have it be a pos is absurd. Let’s not forget that materials are not plentiful because of lack of nodes and constant node camping . And I’m sure I could write about six more paragraphs on this , but bottom line I say if someone wants to find out what atrocity we all talk about let them find out.
But it doesn’t affect you and you can still make use of it to get your last profession up. What is the problem?
I think this is a bit of a selfish attitude to have. Consider all of the new and returning players. Double xp is a great incentive to get them to come back and try new content and catch up some may end up staying. Which is good for everyone.
Even with 2x it’s going to take massive amount of mats. Grinding weaponsmithing from 151 to 200 is going to require like 4k orichalcum ingots. Nice improvement over 8k but I wouln’t call it cheap
