Is this a bug or an exploit: bug
(if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I have to relog after every game of outpost rush, and can’t talk in global during it. Army chat for outpost rush still works fine.
(if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: sort of, relogging after the match fixes it.
This happens at different times, you don’t need to do outpost rush, just playing the game normally. It also happens to faction, and recruitment channels.
Same, I cannot speak in Global, Faction, or Recruitment after entering Outpost Rush. I CAN still speak in Area, Help, and Company. If I had to guess something with the Army Chat permissions gets messed up. A relog fixes it for me as well, but of course I have to do that after every Outpost Rush, which is super annoying since I like to run it a lot.
I had the same issue. I thought it was because the army chat “disappears” after an OPR match and you’re just “stuck” in it despite being visually trying to use a different chat.
It looks like the issue might be you’re still stuck in the “party” from the Outpost Rush. I think therefore the game thinks you should still have “Army” chat and it’s blocking the others.
Every single time I leave OR…/sigh I am getting a little tired of all of this…I freaking love this game but it is getting harder to defend all the problems.
Have that annoying bug too. But now there is something fun added : I have movement bugs in OPR.
Like when I run right and want to go another direction, the character struggle to change direction like he’s too heavy or something. And even better : I’m stuck in running on the spot. Can’t move, it’s like i’m surrounded by invisible walls. I can only move by jumping or dodge rolling.
Screw this !! It totally ruins the OPR match I can’t even do anything. I have to log out and log in back, like a lot of bugs already present in this game.
That happened the other day to me upon exiting OPR. I was froze in place. If I did a dodge roll with weaponswap, my character would run in the direction I rolled very very fast but I couldn’t change directions.
Restating the game client did not help.
Oddly enough someone chimed in with a very odd, bit working solution. I had to exit the game, and then create a new character on a different battle group, pick an appearance,name and play all the way until you accept the first quest and then game will let you exit.
After that I logged back in and my character was working again. Weirdest fix ever and really speaks to some questionable code in the back end.
+1, I am having the same exact issue. After OPR, I type in global chat, but nothing. I always have to exit to the main menu and come back in order to use the global chat myself (I can see what others are typing)
