rip economy - if players did that with second accounts and deleting chars which recieved the gold, they will be untrackable

Full economic reset needs to happen, full pocket wipe and storage wipe only leave furniture. give everyone 2k gold coins and reset any taxs owed for homes. Remove all taxs from all guilds and give them 100k of gold coins.
Isnt it just logical that when people can create unlimited amount of currency than theres a major problem? You dont really need to be a dev to know when there can be created unlimited of something out of nowhere that can be spread to hundreds of people there is trouble ^^
When you drive a car and theres a sign of no oil in the engine, do you drive until the engine is destroyed oder do you stop and maybe refill oder call someone?
When you compare this to the bug, amazon just drives their car right know without oil.
When massive gold duplication happened, they definitely did what are you talking about. They did it when the tbow duplication happened too.

because you said so? Even if they can’t track where is the gold, they know that THERE IS gold duped and can rollback if necessary on affected servers
simple wipes are not going to work, players have used the exploit to gain 200 trade skills as well. pretty much the entire situation is broken, only a full rollback to over 8 hours ago will work.

Pretty sure they wont rollback anything. They will say they will “ban” people who abused that and thats it. But smart people will keep that and economy will suffer of that
gold seller prices already dropped to like nothing per 100k gold >.<

They don’t really care tbh. The invulnerability bug was posted too, multiple regions basically stolen from non-exploiting ppl and they did nothing.

They can easily rollback 8 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours if they have to. But they don’t want to and will propably rather track those cases down manually over days instead of angering playerbase.
You act like a bandwagonning hater on the other hand and completely underestimate what devs are able to do.
Maybe because it is in the bugs and exploits section, exactly where amazon want people posting this type of stuff, and if you have played any other MMO you will know stuff like this does not get fixed until it gets many eyes on it.
True, but after that there is no way back. Time is of the essence now. Servers should be offline since this is in the public domain…
