How much did you buy?
To be honest, I understand why people would buy gold from these places… Lev 30 and most gold I’ve had is just over 2k. Buying a house seems more out of reach each day.
I don’t buy gold.
Me too, it’s perfectly understandable. I had 22k at one point, and it all got sucked away just from the cost of playing the game. I doubt I’ll be buying a house anytime soon.
I bought gold once back when World of Warcraft first brought out flying and you’d have to gold farm for weeks if you wanted to buy the bird and pay for the training. It was exorbitant, and you couldn’t even get to some of the content unless you could fly.
In those days I worked 60 hour weeks. I had a limited amount of playtime and I had no intention of wasting tons of it grinding gold. Especially considering that in those days I had lots of disposable income! The wife and I had flying mounts pronto.
I’m not the slightest bit ashamed.
I don’t buy gold, but I can’t look down at anybody who does.
Almost level 35, which means I can buy a second house… But because I don’t play every day I haven’t even bought my first. Until they fix the cost of taxes, repairs and other sinks for the sake of sinks, then people will buy gold.
And anyway, I’d rather somebody farm then sell it, rather than see people dupe it.
Personally I always just keep wondering what some people keep doing with their gold 
. Myself I’ve been on a steady net gain of 1k gold per day since I started playing my current character. And it’s actually slowly starting to increase rather than slowing down, with the increase in gold obtainment from various resources such as mob drops, townboard rewards, faction quest rewards, TP sales, etc.
YouTube advertisements algorithm works like that, if you have ever entered a website and somehow you watch a content of related game it will show you related ads for this game. So you probably searched for that gold sellers.
Looks like it was removed already. Seems silly to advertise on YT when there are so many in-game at the moment.
I also just got it on Youtube. Amazon’s legal team is probably salivating at this.
