I don’t want to expand too much on this I hope some people will comment below on their thoughts, but with all the gold duping and some territories earning 1 million gold a week, there needs to be gear that can be achieved by actually playing the game whether it be some sort of PVP currency to buy BIS PVP gear or crafting gear that can’t be traded.
At this point in the game certain company’s will steamroll every war and be treated as mercs, because they can buy the best equipment off the auction house and give it to their army. Players rolling around with full voidbent with 600 ori axe and hammers that have Keen/vicious or a mix of some of the best perks in the game.
Yes I know there are BOP pieces in expeditions, but these pieces aren’t BIS for the most part.
Create new gear that is not obtainable by buying the gear from the auction house.
I’m of the belief that there should be 4 pieces for BiS gear for each slot, per class. One from a dungeon, one an open world named mob, one crafted, and one from PvP. All of which just a little different from each other by the 4 most powerful. Allows every play style to be able to obtain it
Yes that’s one way, the current system just allows people to be in a good company that can afford to buy them the best gear rather than doing anything to have to earn it. People who grind all day in OPR should be rewarded with good PVP gear, people who grind Expeditions should be rewarded with high tier PVE gear, people who grind craftign should have the ability to choose 2 or even 3 perks to craft the best gear that suites them, but not have it be tradable. Afterall, this game clearly caters to those who want to spend hours farming and crafting the best gear.
Its close enough to a BIS with the conn and resilience for axe and hammer, but the point is for the most part you can buy BIS for your class for any playstyle.
Im not saying Void is BIS, but the point is you can buy BIS gear and companys who have the gold can equip their army with top tier gear while the player themselves didn’t really do anything to earn it. Voidbent is still referred by alot of PVP heavy armo axe/hammer users as BIS or at least a lot of people is running that gear.
For example if a crafter makes a ring that has keen and refreshing, its a 600 25 conn ring, then the largest company with the most gold is happy to pick it up for one of their members for 50k, simply because it helps to outfit their army. That’s buying BIS.
We’re 100% sure it was a false flag because of the amount of trades we have done between each other with the mats that we have bought with money from the cities taxes.
This game rewards the owners of EF and WW, they play the game on EzMode while the rest of us support them. Isn’t that pay to win? We certainly pay them to win with our taxes.
They need to remove the ability for city owners to pocket taxes. It’s a huge turn off to the vast majority of players. The only people that think taxes are wonderfull are city owners and children who have never had to deal with them in real life.
Taxes are fine as a way to remove gold from the economy NOT as a get rich quick scheme perpetrated by a fraction of the player base. It’s a terrible idea and as they have already discoverd “Bad Actors” as they put it are already swarming the game, spiking tax rates and make it unpleasant for everyone else.
The post is my opinion, I disagree with how it is setup right now. I see crazy good rolls on crafts get sold to the best company in our server right now because 50k is nothing to them when they can merc for everyone in the server and get paid 100k a war. They also own two territories making them 1 mil a week. This creates a very large gap with anyone else pvping in the server to the point certain territories will be impossible to ever take back.
I agree there should be some incentive to owning the territory, but currently its creating so much gold supply for a few members of the server and creating such a huge gap for anyone else.
