I keep hearing stories of graphic driver timeouts, but do not see a thread here. If there is one my apologies for the duplicate.
That being said I am on the verge of asking for a refund.
I purchased the game on October 2nd and had NO issues playing whatsoever until October 16th.
At first it happened after about 2 hours of game time. Thought it might have been heat related but my GPU temp was at 51 C, well below what my card can handle.
The next day it started happening every 15 minutes regardless of where I was or what I did.
Today I can’t even get passes the initial splash screen.
I attempted ALL of the steps in this thread ( Game keeps crashing? Try any of these steps! - #11 by Nir ) and none of it worked.
I rolled updated my driver, rolled back my driver, un-installed and re-installed steam and the game. Re-seated my graphics card, re-seated all RAM sticks. Checked for windows updates.
Nothing is working. My machine should run this game with ease.

Graphics card is an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
If a timely answer can not be had, my only resort will be to request a refund and whenever asked about New World, refer to it as a beautifully rendered potato.
