Gravity Well is only, "OP," against scrubs who don't know how to PVP

This is my entire opposition on this.

Also this, once again.

I whole heartedly agree, give VG it’s 3 second root back but give us something other than stacking freedom.

We need counters, not nerfs. This would create specializations.

That seems reasonable.

The major one for me is that roots need diminishing effects or break on damage or we need some perk/ability that can counter it. Or that someone has to actually contribute Int to get IG roots so you cant just make ridiculous cheese builds.

IMO the roots are 90% of the problem and now that people have identified which builds are causing them pain they are going to nitpick everything.

And the other side that isn’t bitching about roots is bitching about light armor people rolling and being uncatchable with IG as a crutch for get away.

It was the same with rapier. Uncatchable people I framing into oblivion.

I thought the new glide function made light too mobile. I noticed it right away. The rapier nerfs only effected it offensively too, helping kill off all the bow players. But a good light armor rapier healer can be nearly unkillable still. They should have to contribute int to use a rapier like that.

I have actually seen some light GA IG players chase people down phenomanally, between the light rolls, slows, root → root, but MAN, THAT IS CHEESY.

My only counter to light being uncatchable is that running away will not win me games.

Holding the point and root chaining people will.

But killing healers is not even a solid tactic due to the escape ability at the same time. The current meta is kinda dog and changes need made to shift it drastically.

Introducing counters is my idea.

Gravity Well is only OP with IG, without defensive potions u will die even in heavy armor or survive it with very low HP. And dont write things like this something is OP against noobs… stupid argument. People who running in light armor with no const perks must be sure they will die in seconds if they get caught and they cant complain about that… Like us melees ahould not complain about that muskets takin their spot somewhere in the high spot( but I do it as a counter :ok_hand:) thats how their gameplay look like.

Also I play a ton of rapier and instead of nerfing the cooldowns into oblivion they couldve just shortened fleche a bit. Or a bit of both.

That way a good rapier player can still outplay people but is not so escapey.

Once someone performs a roll into fleche you’ve created so much space aint no one catching you.

Yep thats why from 2-3 weeks we demand CC resistance if u get rooted u have 3 sec resistance, stuned 3 second resistance. The funniest thing is we have a solution those resist potions from war shop have that kind of potion, why did not added to OPR dunno but it would make game better.

Ofc graw well is no op, 100% pvp players playing mele ga /wh heavys with 300 con, whu care about graw well ^^

damn almost like ice shower and ice spike and scream and most abilities in the game

So I’m a noob if the game doesn’t allow me to dodge inside gravity well?

It’s really the GA and IG players who are OP. Not the weapons, ask them, they’ll tell you.

ig is not even better than hammer atm please stop complaining

Removing root from gw and shower would straight up improve everyone experience, by giving an instant counter to thia skilla in the form of any movement skill. You still can melt stuff with a grav, just need coordination with your team. Right now you grav, people are rooted and desynced, and can only hope to not explode.

The issue IS the grav first of everything else: im one of those that prefer buffing stuff, like every melee weapon tracking so you can hit things that are not slowed or rooted, but if gw and shower are kept like this, things wont change, it will be the same omega op kill window to be abused and playing a bruiser will just be praying god that once you get in your grav to do damage you dont clamp and die with your teammates cause another grav hits you.

And saying that only noObS cry about it, just show how little you know about wars in these patches

that could be resolved with group requirements for wars, not with nerfing.

Group requirements would solve every issue with a weapon being overused by everyone in wars.
just limit a number of said weapon per group.

It would only make making rosters much harder, especially for guilds with low numbers

war can be joined by people of different faction, different guild,it would make the battleground more balanced
