If an ovrwhelming amount of scrub players play Axe/Hammer (they do) its an issue.
Totally agree with this guy here. All the crying about Gaxe I see have been from ranged light/med armor users since Gaxe is the only weapon able to catch up to their kiting, when it comes to full melee build players I haven’t seen a single one say they cannot deal with Gaxe since who cares about lunge when you actually want to fight in melee anyway. As a full melee player I personally don’t have issues fighting Gaxe players even if I’m not even using a Gaxe myself.
On the topic of rapier, all the rapier users I see run all 3 skills in Grace for huge mobility + low cd Riposte, there is absolutely no reason to even look at Blood tree. Grace tree needs to be toned down and Blood tree needs to be made more viable.
Also agree that Fire staff nerfs could’ve been done better, brainless left click projectile spam damage should have been nerfed and skill damage should have been buffed making it more rewarding to land Pillar of Fire or making Flamethrower apply useful debuffs like Rend or Exhaust so that people actually have a reason to use it.
The GA/Hammer combo is only good because of 2 things, When someone stuns you with the hammer they most likely have the ability to give rend to shockwave, which increases ur incoming damage by a TON, second. GA has gravity well that grants fortify while they’re in it, making it very hard to kill them quickly. When used together it makes someones very strong. Not including any other buffs. Devs didnt think it through and a nerf will come at some point.
In wars hammers are definitely the most important weapon.

Lol have you tried headshotting with lag and rubber banding. Hit recog on the bow is pretty suspect even on NPCs.
I dont think they should nerf anything at this point… focus on the classes that needs a buff and see how that feels with the rest of the classes. cus each class need to be strong in there own way.
If they do nerf classes plz stop nerfing classes in the ground like u guys did on IG. you should nerf like 2-3 ability’s and see how it feels in the next weeks. and if a class is still overpowered like most of the people said then look for some other nerfs. but i dont think any class need a nerf at this point… fix the bugs that most classes got and make sure each class feels fun to play.

I agree, although I’m still new and don’t have much time to play, but I found that light/medium with bow/musket and rapier is actually evil build, it is true that heavies can kill u instantly if they get their hands on u, but rapier can do the same to them, bows and muskets hit like truck. I guess it’s fair in 1v1. I dunno much about mass pvp, but I’ll expect that GA and WH will have the upper hand, ppl just need to find ways around it, like go full medium in wars, or focus fire on a single target.
In other words, if a rapier/bow can kill a GA in a blink of an eye and the GA can do the same maybe with a bit more success it is fine, as light/medium user you got to fear builds that incorporates big 2-handed weapons, while you still have a chance. Balancing a game to the extent that all classes are homogenized is a bad idea. Let the GA fear Sword and Shield and let the light armors fear the GA and WH. Some tweaks to classes is fine, but really, homogenizing the classes is a real bad idea. I’ve seen many videos of ppl with rapiers crushing GA WH and even Sword and Shield. It’s tough, requires a lot of skill and space management, but that how it should be IMO, some classes will require a high skill cap but once u hit that cap, it’s really rewarding.
I’d just like hatchet to get a little buff.
Yeah. People should be more focused on how to get their favorite weapons boosted and not demanding the ones they don’t use get nerfed

Yeah imma go with a no on that one. GA/Warhammer has 4 stuns… most of them 2-3seconds plus aftershock on warhammer. If you think that is balanced you’re on something. Maybe you can win 1v1, but that is a hard maybe. Chaining CC is 100% broken. There is a reason that the team with more warhammers usually wins OPR since they just chain their CC and anyone not in heavy armor get decimated. Oh, I forgot I have infinite stamina and can just go invincible… give me a break.
No offense but if you run medium/light you have no business to be in the front line with all the GA and WH. I see a lot of players using medium/light armor with hatchet, rapier, spear or any other melee weapon that can do well 1v1 rushing heavy armor players in OPR. Why would you do that if you have a ranged weapon as well ?
Edit: if you’re going to tell me 5 heavy armor players using WH/GA are chasing you in medium/light using a rapier, etc, there’s no way they can catch you unless you deliberately smash your body into them
