Great Axe issues with hitboxes

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing:
    Since the February patch, Maelstrom and Great Axe normal attacks (light/heavy) have become pretty much useless. Hitting with Maelstorm in war is now like gambling as if the hitboxes weren’t existent. You can stand in three players and if you’re lucky you’ll hit a single player once, where before the patch you landed multiple hits 80% of the time. Normal GA attacks are far too slow and the homing range too small to effectively hit a player anymore.

Anyone who now claims that is not the case. Pay attention to the damage of your GA players in the War Scoreboard, on average they all report a 30-50% reduction in total damage, even though the scoreboards on all servers are already led by mages and dex players.

  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug, possibly defective hitboxes or unintended dodge inside gravity well.
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Extremely, 30 to 50% dmg loss in war scoreboard.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Yes, stop playing GA/WH
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Play GA/WH in war and try to hit enemys with Maelstrom.

@DEVs Please have a look at this. There are definitly huge issues with Maelstrom and hitboxes. Before February patch Maelstrom was hitting MUCH more often then now. AND NO, enemys are not dodging. It just don’t hit them anymore, even though they are standing right next to you.
