in the current state, it is almost impossible to hit someone with the great axe now unless they are standing still. if they are just casually walking in the other direction or have a 5% movement passive going you won’t be able to hit them. I DONT THINK THE CHANGES NEED TO BE REVERTED but rather REVISED.
MY SOLUTION: your tracking/lunging capability should be tied to armor weight
LightArmor = old lunge/tracking
MediumArmor = less lunge/tracking
heavy armor = current lunge/tracking
So you want others to stand still so you can hit them, hahahahaahahahahaha. Now you need skill, don’t try musket, bow , ice gaunlet, firestaff, lifestaff , and void gaunlet because those require aiming at a moving target. By the sound of it, those are way above your skill level.

Of course he hit him, and then missed the other shots. Should have pressed 1. Simple. Skills is all about think what to press at the right time. I cant imagine a hatchet hitting someone irl unless they are in reach or throw it. Raging torrent grants haste, easy catch.
Its hard to say for me if they overdid it. I can kite most gaxe/hammer users around post nerf. Even 2v1.
But sometimes I meet a gaxe/hammer player that is just better and farms me. Yesterday a dude farmed me like 6 times in a row, tried kiting him but no luck.
Maybe making it impossible to leave the grav with abilities like fleche would make it easier to catch people and make it more rewarding to actually hit the ability. Other players (rapiers) would need to be more careful not to get hit by grav.
Lol voidgauntlet requires absolutely no skill so whatever , its just a spam left click. even the abilities are super easy to land and dont require you to use combos or use attack as feint for ability to land. The scream is so fast you cant even react to it in time only way to avoid it is to predict it
You’re acting like people don’t spam dodge whenever they get near anyone anyhow. Scream isn’t near as cheap as grav well>reap>hammer stun>hammer smash stun>heavy attack or kick>sweep>throw spear>bow disengage to run away if they aren’t dead.
Id drop scream for a gap closer with void gaunt if I had one. and a void blade toggle instead of a cast.
you can dodge all hammer and ga abilities if you have skill. Gravity well is escaped easily by dodge and any movement ability by competent players, sundering shockwave has a long startup easy dodge. Scream however you cant escape anyway if you get hit by it and theres no time to react to it. If you spam dodge constantly for no reason you are a bad player because you are wasting your stamina that you need for dodging CCs and attacks. You only use your stamina when you need it because if you waste it for nothing then they can for sure scream you in place when you did couple dodges to waste your stam for no reason but anyhow the issue is that you cant react to it in time because it doesnt have a long enough startup like sundering shockwave for example
No void abilities have grit, no decent void builds have a slow, and void blade is slow itself. If your opponent has a potato router, none of the hits detect if they just casually walk away from you. You can literally stagger a void blade to death or just W/gap close ability away quite easily if you really just want to reset the fight.
People would be freaking out if they balanced Void to be on par with an actual dps melee weapon. give a craft mod that slows, conditional damage boost, good ult ability etc. it does hit hard, but you can just walk away from it!!
