theyre probably lying. most of the ‘top players’ ive run into are online 12 hours a day and were 60 the first week. this is not someone with a job, responsibilities, or a life. they also tend to talk the most shit on global, and bitch when they get ganked.
im sure these very same players are among us right now, crying about how axe is broken.
infact, there was a thread about 2 days ago, with some tryhard loser pvper trying to get his whole pvp discord to ingame report people who refused to help defend his companies territory. the guys discord picture was his face, and he was so fat the thumbnail barely fit the guys head in it.
these are the people im talking about, and they are everywhere.
now you’re just proving yourself right about this whole situation where there is so many toxic pvmers and pvpers, YOU’RE ONE OF THEM… Jesus Christ man, look in the mirror and please change for the better.
Plus who are you to judge someone’s stance on life, who are you to judge what people can and can’t do, why do you have to put someone on blast for what they do? I know a guy who does nothing but plays games all day, he’s a very big guy (Even know that shouldn’t have anything to do with it) but he can do that because he has all this income coming in from him owning 14 service stations. and i know quite alot of these people. this is why it’s ticking me off about you saying this garbage.
i never said i wasnt toxic. how do you think i know this. ive had to suffer through these creatures for years, you want a good team, you have to play with these incels.
and you cant get better than the best, so that suggestion is redundant.
I play spear sword, staying on enemies with other weapons isn’t difficult, however it is much easier to get away from everything other than gaxe WHEN gaxe doesn’t even use skills that allow it to stay close. the tree reads as though you are a storm just pulling everything into you but in reality gaxe is just cleave spam.
reap, charge, gravity well are the only skills I ever see and I am sure that the intention of play is supposed to be much cooler than that. I rarely see anyone use execute and can’t say I have ever seen anyone use whirlwind ever.
So it isn’t surprising when players say “gaxe sucks in 1 vs 1” because they build to try to grav well a group and then spam light attacks until their health is too low. I see it all the time. I also tend to see gaxe players use charge to run away rather than engage as they tend to overextend without their group and get bodied.
So when in a situation where there is a gaxe on meand you hop away, i expect to be able to not be instantly followed by an attack and my dodge being completely worthless. I am a front line fighter as well so there is no reason for the attack to allow you to slide along the floor as I certainly don’t
the thing is you’re in here complaining about these types of people when you keep showing signs and admitting that you’re one yourself… that’s why it’s contradicting
im not one at all. successful job, business owner, all manner of men and women lust after me (and i after them). unfortunately if you want to play on a well oiled team in these types of games, you must sink into the unshaven, unshowered filth of the neckbeards and their inner circles.
I play the same build except heavy armor and this is 100% true. You will not catch light armor unless they let you or don’t know how to use their mobility. I wouldnt say im the best GA user in my server but im one if them. Baiting rapier riposte, predicting ice shower and knowing when to not go full aggro are all required to best any decent player 1v1 using GA. That being said the weapon is extremely dominant in group scenarios.
Seriously, if you can’t keep your distance from GA’s or Hammers as a ranged player in this game, then you are doing something wrong…or your choices in your spec are not very well thought out.
Just want to point out that it’s most likely only one shot from the bow you are taking which does this damage. The follow up shots do not. The majority of bow burst is opening shot on full health from range after dodging. Can get a decent shot for a finisher on under 30% with correct gems as well. But follow up shots are much weaker. If they run Penetrating shot they have another chance to land a big hit.
This mage player is doing everything right. From choosing the right target, to the way he kites. Beautiful fireballs tossed behind or to his side right on target to hit chasers. Calculated burn outs. Ice walls on point, followed up with never missing the heavy combo. This is a very good mage player.
His opponents, well they do pretty much everything wrong.
Oh and I noticed you like to attack people based on what you assume they play so I’ll save you some effort and give you some facts to go on. I have all weapons at 20, just finished rapier today. I have multiple sets for different builds and often switch between playstyles both for OPR and PVE. I mainly play either unkillable paladin(when running with m8’s) or light armor 400int Fire mage with a variety of offhands since I bore easily. Many times I go light armor healer. I also play full dex bow/spear and musket or dex/int musket… I also do a 200foc 200int fire/light build. I also play a lot a 200int/200dex musket fire staff build.
