Greataxe needs mechanical nerfs, it has no skill requirement

Hey,
So the first 150 hours of the game I played Light Dex Bow/Rapier build, then swapped to healer for the remainder.

Time and time again, almost each week, we have seen mechanic nerfs and changes to Life Staff but why is Greataxe not given that same luxury?

Greataxe left click has:

  • Autoaim
  • Autoleap
  • Stupid amounts of damage.
  • Healing on crit.
  • Healing when below a certain threshold.
  • +30% Movement Speed.

Leaping/Autoaim should be locked to abilities with medium-length cooldowns only and not the autoattack.

It promotes thoughtless gameplay and a lack of skill, can we please have it changed?

Some weapons could have been designed for more casual players. Not every player is gonna have high motor control or reflexes and maybe AGS is trying to make weapons for all skill levels. Honestly I disagree with your post but I might as well argue against it anyhow

And thats great for a single player game. In a multiplayer game where competitive modes exist, there needs to be at least some balance in terms of skill. I understand there will always be a meta, but it does seem like this GA meta is narrowing the mechanical scope of the gameplay.
