Problem is if you nerf dmg it will be dead wepon you remove stagers, it will be dead wepon, it have no cc or gap close, only stagers and dmg, best think is increse dmg taken in dps stanse to 30% so it will be hight risk high rewars wepon ![]()
Stun immunity? Pretty sure guard point is blocking a lot of stuns lmao.
Gs gave ability to have 5 sec imunity to root stagers stuns,but you need hit enemy first ;D but animation is slow like shockwave so its easy to avoid
I completely disagree. increasing the damage taken would not address the pvp complaints at all and would only negatively impact its pve performance.
they could definitely tone down some of the damage numbers without killing the weapon. even without putting points into strength greatsword does decent damage, way more than other weapons at base, and with onslaught it attacks just as fast as other weapons too, and it can trigger bleeds ridiculously easily and consistently while playing defensively with very little risk at all, in fact it’s actually low risk high reward at that point with the counter.
liked the sword, but I feel very open with it, I don’t think it’s something low risk, but it has the advantage of being wide so you can use it as a buckler
Its warrented doe, muskets half hp lights in 1 shot from any distance in bodyshot,
And greatsword has no flaws other than its not ranged.
There is no reason for a bruiser not to use greatsword atm. Its simply good everywhere except maybe pointplay in wars
Even if they increase TTK GS will be nerfed. Weapon is better than any other mele weaponm in game when it comes to pure dps and utility it brings in 1 vs 1 combat. In larage scale it does lack AOE like GA or WG, but in small scale it destroyed GA and WH in dmg and utility side.

It does 50% more dmg compared to ss and hatchet, yes. And yes it does hatch lvl of utilities if not better.
The damage and the honing distance with the greatsword light/heavy attacks are more umbalanced than greataxe in release. And also the range of its abilities. A huge nerf is required.
Wouldn’t say it’s got better utilities, Death Defy is a helluva perk and carries hatchet a long way. The truth combination of terror in a 1v1 is someone using both lmao

Thats why i said they are same lvl probably. One is better in some cases and other in other situations. Fact is weapon is broken. And not just the dmg and utility. Look at crosscut - it has super long range and 3 built in attacks. So how you can not get hit by that as light armor user? You dont have stamina to block all 3 and if you cant use min. 2 dodges you wont get out of its range.
And its just 1 skill. Amount of utility build in weapon that has crazy good utility and op dmg is insane. Seriously GS does make look GA like tool to choop wood in forest at best.
Nah GA is significantly better at chase and lock down, only reason people don’t notice the difference is because of the light dodge nerf.
But to play GA as chase weapon you have to land stuff. Land gravity weel and reap. If you cant time and land reap after charge you cant chase anyway. So there is some skill required to use weapon vs light armor.
While with GS you faceroll over keybord and it will work just fine.
I agree with that, I specced into 350 int a few days ago just to test the damage with an INT gem. Heavy attacks do just about the same damage as my IG heavy attacks, was fun memeing with it.
Yes guard point does block stuns, but there’s also 2 abilities that give stun immunity. One is from the roaring rupture passive, but pretty sure that’s a bug
The animation is way faster than shockwave, and even in a small clump good luck trying to get everyone to dodge it. So for the next 5 seconds good luck trying to stop them. Also, even if you land a shockwave it’s going to be broken usually then you’re open to be countered
