Griefing Players Farming By Dragging Mobs

Can any dev/mod confirm if dragging mobs to a player who is harvesting/farming ANY given node is against Terms of Service and is, therefore, punishable/bannable? I’ve seen and read many threads on the forums of people dealing with the same issues causing a lot of frustration and hate. Would love an answer on how to deal with this other than by reporting the player for Harassment.

They can absolutely get banned for disruptive behavior

Hello @Blazt

As @Player01 mentioned, they can get banned for disruptive behavior.

The Code of Conduct mention:

Do not : engage in behaviors that reduce or disrupt the enjoyment of the game for others. This includes spamming chat, griefing, throwing matches, boosting, win-trading, trolling, or spoiling the game by sharing unreleased or confidential materials.”

To report a player for any kind of violation of the Code of Conduct, you need to follow the same steps listed here: Report a Player or Company - Support | Amazon Games

Hope this helps

In regards to the griefing, how does this mechanic work, when often there are times when lvl 60 players are farming in low level area’s, but if say a low level player shots at a monster/s at a distance, the monsters don’t always only attack the player whom attacked it, as most agrro to the nearest player.
So does this mean anyone using a ranged attack against groups of monsters where someone is farming, they are going to be held responsible for the games design flaw, and at the mercy of the person farming if they choose to lodge a complaint?

Hello @SunStormer

WIth this specific scenario, we focus more on those people who repeatedly do this kind of stuff.

We don’t think someone who behave this way one time with one player, or a couple of times, deserves a penalty like a ban, but certanly we will issue a warning for them if we notice a tendency that is increasing, and of course, a ban if that tendency continues growing.

The real focus here is the players who continuously and repeatedly behave in this way, harassing multiple players.
