Turkey terror was abysmal and lazy. There was no quest or general awards for the event. 1 person out of 6 to 12 people would get the reward and no achievements were added to show you took part on the event.
Instead they wanted you to grind out turkeys for an all or nothing reward.
Is this some sort of joke?
This fundamental mindset of doing things on a sloppy lazy way with must have grind is becoming the identity of this game.
The group game is suffering because of the timesink involved just to do a group mission and after everyone completes their main story quest orbs become limited with people who have the orbs welcoming people to join them for a cost of 1k plus gold.
The devs look at income outcome ratio to guage an economy and totally ignore the impact of company owned territories recycling gold to give an illusion of a viable economy .
Meanwhile every poor design and mechanic failure is to the benefit of the min maxers who bypassed content and took advantage of things before it got nerfed and penalizing those who were playing the right way by adding even more grind.
There is no way possible that the devs didn’t know leveling was too fast . It seemed intentional . Yet now they decide it’s an issue and penalize casual players once again who came to the game because the leveling rate appealed to them .
Even dyes are a grind … yet the devs don’t care about dyes as the shop skins can’t be dyed and the majority of gear doesn’t display the dyes one may have spent hours grinding for .
Why should I care about these things when the devs do not
Even housing. The devs perceive as a luxury item of the elite when it’s a fundamental tool to make traveling somewhat bearable.
The house tax subsidy hasn’t been nice it seems the way it should of been all along but as far as we know it’s temporary and will go back to paying 4x what is reasonable soon.
I do enjoy playing the game for the most part but the constant poor decisions by staff is just making it very very difficult to have any faith this game will see it’s potential.
Everything that AGS fixes adds a grind meanwhile the stuff that still need fixed is ignored until they can find a way to make it grindier I guess.
Tuning orbs were mentioned being improved a week after launch yet they remain a hassle.
PVE gold generation is unacceptable and opr income is server population dependent . PvE raids are put in control of the PvP players basically shutting out their participation in invasions unless server pop is so low that desperation kicks in.
Less grind more world please. Even the post titles have a grind requirement.
