Do we have any new info about the group finder? I swear to god standing 3 hours in front of a expedition and looking for teammates/groups in chat is getting really boring really fast.
Farming was killed since all the server have high pop and there is not enough nodes to have pleasant experience with farming - so the last thing to do was expeditions but the inability to find people fast for runs just makes me alt+f4 everytime i want to play one.
I’ve answered this in like six different identical threads… please consider searching to see if this has been answered already before.
The devs posted a new update to the PTR afew days ago, which includes a new groupfinder update, they were just pretty silent about it.
If all goes well, groupfinder will be released next week.
People been saying that for over a month now. I’m convinced group finder won’t make its way into New World for at least a few months.
Thank you @Luxendra . I wish more people would play PTR, and test things out. Is there an incentive to bring people to PTR, aside from sneak peak into what’s coming? Like can we get a title or armor skin, weapon skin, shield skin, etc so after someone plays like an entire week, they get that perk?
We did once while testing wars in the past but we don’t have any at this time. We do encourage players to join the PTR since it’ll help us find any issues that prevent us from releasing group finder sooner.
Please more incentives for ppl testing things in ptr and not only just to try fresh new things. Even achievements will be nice, some territory standing experiences pots which dont give full levels something like 50% exp of a 1 level up. Even an azoth pack of 10-30 or w/e number you think is fine.
This a a great idea and I totally agree. If you want us to run the course then dangle a carret in front of our faces. Carrot being something we all might want/enjoy such a rare armor skin given only to those to test and help make the game better. 
DEVS PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME AND TEST IT WELL BEFORE RELEASE.
The only thing I want from the PTR is the ability to immediately test proposed changes without the need to farm and grind first.
I know this does not apply to the group finder testing, but most people have been put off the PTR because they’ve had to go through the same madness of grinding in it before being able to test things. We shouldn’t have to grind when we just want to help.

Yes, we can create a max level character with all weapon and trade skills maxed.
This! I love New World and I would love to help out on these PTR’s if I didn’t have to grind to get everything. Characters in PTR should be maxed and have access to everything. If that’s not the case I can understand people avoid it.
I have to admit that releasing a brand new dungeon * without* the group finder, was a major disappointment…
