Can we get a statement as to why?
Don’t need a nerf or buff thats not what I’m requesting
Just kinda some general idea as to the thoughts

SnS too
Yea, I don’t know why the SnS tracking is so strong, especially in comparison to the other 1 handed melee weapons.
Copy pasted from great axe tracking
It’s reasonable to ask for clarification.
I think?
Bump. Would love to hear the thought process
Controversial question: Why do we even need tracking?
Reason for question: Only melee has it.
Follow-up question: Would anyone accept ranged tracking?
Reason for follow-up question: I don’t think anyone would.
Reiterative question: Why do we even need tracking?
Why you need tracking? Because people would just hold down W and get away from your melee attack while you being stacked in attack animation.
I don´t get how someone don´t understand this.
is it tho? do you have proof like a video, comparing it to others?
I got this one.
The tracking on melee is what pulls the weapon forward when it attacks. Without the tracking melee weapons wouldn’t hit if the enemy is moving away at all.
Obviously range doesn’t need to lunge forward when shooting and honestly if they did I guarantee you the community would explode in frustration. Imagine a musket player lunging off their rock in OPR everytime they pulled the trigger lol.
Tracking on some weapons is stronger than others. The Warhammer and the GS are among the strongest. I imagine this is to make up for the slow attack speed which makes sense but I think they both are a bit too strong in their tracking.
