Liking GS/Hatchet (PvE) and looking to spec pure ranged on hatchet, is this a good choice DPS wise?
I like it. I hate berserk since you have to macro it to be efficient, so anyway to avoid berserk to me is good
It’s a good build for sure. Just make sure you have the right perks. I recommend putting skill points into everything on the throwing tree except for critical throw, and using enraged strikes on the left side instead

I don’t use berserk or otherwise use any macros.

Macros are against the rules and those that use them may well be found out at some point in the future.

However, to get back on topic. Creating and promoting Macros should not be the interest of any reasonably normal player of New world.
