I played with all weapons a lot of time, and i dont like Ice Gauntlet, and life staff, i think maybe some new ideas will make the game more fun
Life Staff was trashed too much. The trees need a rework. Protector should have actual protection based abilities like it did in the Alpha. Some of the weapon’s nodes are extremely useless.
Musket needs a rework. Especially the trapper tree. So much utility potential but it’s neglected.
SnS should be first in line for a rework. The blade master tree should offer Dual wield option.
The hatchet throwing tree sucks ;(
The Ice Gauntlet’s Builder tree makes no sense. The only building ability you get is a pylon that gets obliterated almost always. Gimi a Frost Cannon & a Chilling Snow Pistol ability instead. Anything builder related ffs!
The shield itself should be able to function with other weapons & have it’s own pair of trees.

VG. Right ultimate is trash and the weapon overall should lean more to a support playstyle.

Life staff having an offensive ability for solo pve content would be nice, that would never happen though bc people would complain about it 100%

shields need a full blown rework. opening up a utility group could really spice the game up with more stuff in the future. do the work now AGS before you scramble to add new functions and screw everything up.
also adding rapier blood tree. some stuff coming up but the entire set up is clunky and requires 2 of 3 slots to just function with the bleed explosion concept.
Adding rapier to the list. Its survivability/mobility in PvP is way too strong in a game with so much freedom in how you build your character.
For me, heals (AOE or single) should damage corrupted mobs or “zombies” mobs.
Rapier has been significantly nerfed and riposte doesn’t work 50% of the time, and Light rapiers can also be chased by Light hatchet + GA without problems. How is this “too strong” exactly?
It’s the only utility and you want to trade it off? For what? Dex players have been asking for FaF rework along with the other blood skills as they were rendered useless, low damage, with poor tracking and/or self root.
Any light can chase down a rapier and they do meager damage based on the utility skills as the other tree is mostly unused, maybe Tondo is used but just to pressure healers, a 13k HP bruiser will shrug off 6 blood stacks with a pot and a Reap or PoD recovery, and sometimes not even the pot is needed.
Aren’t you asking for a Rapier rework just so healers that use it as an alt weapon have none later? Again, it has 6 skills, 3 are useless, the other 3, 1 works 50%, the other 2 are conditional to use-at-your-own-risk.
