Gypsum CD clarification

Can I gently ask for a clarification on when the “Obtain Gypsum CD” starts?
I 've read it’s on 18h schedule, but at:

  • Fixed time with Daily reset?
  • When I collect the last gypsum for the daily cap?
  • When I Actually Craft the Orb?

And again, If let’s say, I Just farm 5 Amethyst out of the 7 required, and the Next day I start to earn them again, Will I receive only 2x for the Day or another “stack of 7”?
Sorry I’m getting quite confused XD
