same problem. have no idea if i missed the drop and now just wasting my time killing rabbits should have been a purple drop or yellow

Finally got the chest after a little over 2000 rabbits. No special gear or food, just my regular PvE outfit. I saw in another topic that the drop rate is 0.1%. Well, that explains it all. We’re just unlucky or not as lucky as others. Keep digging.

Please second, third, and fourth this for me. It is not fun running around killing hundreds or thousands of 1-shot critters, competing with dozens of other people to snipe them first, for the rare chance at getting a time-capped seasonal cosmetic item.

I have quit playing every day after an hour or so, sitting at 571 bunny kills based on game meat in my inventory. It really is horrible. I know you’re resource-constrained, working on bug fixes and new content, but please please please add drop protection for this chest. Increasing % to receive it upon killing each additional rabbit, or maybe make them drop an egg token and once you get 100, you turn them in for the chest. SOMETHING so I can go do expeditions, OPR, invasions, etc…

it took me a bit over 2200 rabbits for myself, def not ideal and not player enticing for the future events…

Dropped it after about 300 rabbits. Keep trying!

I would be curious to know if there is a difference in drop ratio for people that use melee weapons over ranged weapons.

I’m at 4200+ rabbits and still no chest.
I know its super rare, but almost all of my friends got it in like under 300 kills, and there is people in the chat/forum getting it all the time. So just feels frustrating.

I think I’ve hit 1k+ easily by now with the rabbit kills. I tend to agree with a previous poster that if the bag wasn’t looted the account may be flagged as the item was received, when in fact, it was not.

I’ve sunk so many hours just running around killing rabbits (10-15 hours of just farming rabbits). It’s a bit disheartening.

At now 4325 kills (full luck gear, major trophies, food buff, pvp flagged) and still no chest…
i think there’s somenthing strange…it’s impossibile to not drop it after more than 4k kills.
If there’s a bug, devs MUST admit it!

Ye luck doesnt work… the CM said so in my Post about it…
Use skinning luck and get some Profit atleast.
With Full dex and Rapier spaming flechr it is pretty fun aswell

Given it’s a 1/1000 drop rate, and that luck doesn’t apply to this drop, then stats tell us that 36% of people will need 1000+ kills to get the chest.
13% people will need 2k+ kills.

So those numbers are not as uncommon as we may think.

You’re part of the 1.3% people who will need 4325+ kills to get the chest :wink:

Really, the only solution to that would have been:

  • either to have a “pity” system built-in (to drastically increase your chances to get it after xxx amount of kills)
  • or make it more linear, by getting a kind of currency from the rabbits, and exchanging it for the chest in a “rabbit hunter outpost” or something like that

I feel for you guys, that event was not fun for most people.
