Has the Musket maximum distance been changed?

As the title says, lately I find that I cannot shoot at targets further than 100m away with a musket, whereas Bow users shoot faster, farther and far more accurately… what gives?

To clarify, I am not saying it’s because of aim, but if I am standing next to a bow user and we both try to shoot at a cannon during a siege and he hits it no problem and my shot does not even register a hit and no dmg.

Anyone else noticed this? Same with open world pvp really, targets beyond 100m just don’t get hit. (and yes, I have the talent to negate the fall-off dmg past 50m)
