Hatchet-IG PERKS TOO BAD

What should be added? Hatchet is really strong dps with an ability to defy death

I’ve actually been fine w/ hatchet. Hatchet is the weapon I use the most as my 2nd weapon as a heavy LS user. I agree with @Player01 that if you are upset about the perks then suggest some.

1-hatchet has the most balanced damage in this game and you can still escape by pressing “W”
Only 1 out of 4 hits is successful

The Mage/BOW hits harder than the hatchet and has a 90% greater hit probability than the hatchet. In other words, your probability of escaping from ranges is low. Your probability of escaping from Melee is very high.

I didn’t write muskte because no one escapes musket Light armor Kill light armors in just 3 hits, 4-5k damage :smiley: 150m range When someone comes near you, move away meters with the rapier… :smiley:

Defy Dead is pretty strong I agree with that (Definitely needs a nerf)

Example: instead of keenly berserk, while the Bersek ability is active. A feature that will increase the Normal Hit range 0.5m

The perks are not horrible. Let’s get them to start fixing the horrible hit box first. What’s actually really bad now is anyone running skrim fortification will make you look real dumb considering how easy it is to dodge the hatchet. My opinion is either buff the hatchet dmg or give it a bigger hit box. I barely see anyone on the hatchet throwing tree except for pve. They need to fix hatchet asap

Defy death ability is not op. Most of the time it won’t proc or when it does, i believe void will wipe that right away. Defy death is a perfectly balanced considering how close on has to get in order to fight. Hit range should not be a perk. They should increase the hit box, plain and simple. New perk in my mind would be a longer root on feral or any feral hit causes root instead of having to hit back, keen beserk is fine, raging torrent is perfectly fine. If you use the ability appropriately you should be having abilities pop all the time minus beserk.

Hatchet definitely needs better perks, the throwing tree needs to be buffed as well.

IG is Ice gauntlet right? Am I reading this correctly? You’re saying IG has no good perks?

My recommendations for hatchet are below:

Energizing Feral Rush - > Empowering Feral Rush
On activation of Feral Rush, gain empower for 10s

Keen Berserk → Lifestealing Berserk
If Berserk is activated while under 50% HP, gain 20% lifesteal on hit

Refreshing Torrent → no change as I’ve no idea since I think this one is okay-ish?

Energizing Rending Throw → Devastating Rending Throw
Rending throw now deals 150% weapon damage, if the enemy is below 30% this increases to 200%

Vorpal Social Distancing → Weakening Social Distancing
On successful hit of SD, add Weaken lowering enemy damage by 20%

Mending Infected Throw → Creeping Infected Throw
When Infected Throw’s Aerial Transmission upgrade is active, any enemy affected by disease will pass on the diseased effect to nearby enemies as well.

PS increase animation speed of infected throw lol

Well, what are you doing? you just aim+LMB from 150 meters with musket? Or aim+LMB, aim+Skill with Mage? :smiley: Is there anything you pay attention to other than your own stamina? :smiley:
For example, in melee, you need to pay attention to your own stamina, the enemy’s stamina, the skills used by the enemy and the skills you will use accordingly.
Mage/musket doesn’t need it either, just the skills you need to follow are GW,Entombed,Ice shower. your hit rate is 90% higher than melees because you are Range you don’t need to go near the enemy to damage the enemy, but in melee you have to go near the enemy and the enemy has the same running speed as you. It is very difficult to damage someone who is running away with melee. It’s very easy to escape from melee classes.

Imagine fighting melee with FS/IG. aim/icestorm(with a radius of 5 meters, 300-400 damage per 0.33 seconds), aim+LMB immobilizing, get close Ice shower, aim/fire, ball aim/pillar and free kill. not finished u Caught GW? use entombed Dodge… Dodge… on entombed CD? use Burn Out… walk away and keep hitting

Just look at the leaderboard to see how far mages are superior to melees. Even if you are the worst mage in the game, you can be in the top 10 because aim+LMB is very easy to play

They should also remove the dropoff from Infected Throw; they added it after they broke the point of aim in the past, but it was never an announced change.

yup. basically what its like to play hatchet all in one clip. On top of shit armor perks and most of the time mediocre dmg for most kits. throwing tree passives and rend throw combined with beserk tree makes hatchet tolerable to use tho

I disagree because the hatchet doesn’t need lifesteal, it needs to be able to deal damage, and for that, it has to increase its hits distance by 0.5m.

increased it to 7% instead of 4.8%

thats a joke right? it only procs if you make a direct hit with poison arrow and even then it only lasts 4 seconds.
